Dem shamblin’ corpses more da speed of ya brotha, Arthas.
You can blame Ner’zhul for that, not Arthas… While Arthas was clearly messed in the head before his fall to darkness, his use of necromancy was solely because Ner’zhul mind controlled him through Frostmourne, and fundamentally altered his mind through making Arthas himself undead… (and you can then blame Sargeras, Kil’jaeden, and the Nathrezim for turning Ner’zhul into the Lich King in the first place).
Tauren paladins are lame, troll paladins just suck, Arthas (as explained before), was an idiot. The world isn’t perfect but I guess troll paladins aren’t as bad as orc o goblin paladin, calm down folks.
“Blame the corrupter, not the corrupted” is a slippery slope. By that same reasoning, can we not blame the Draenei for leading the Legion to Draenor and leaving the orcs oblivious to the incoming Legion threat? Had that not happened, Ner’zhul himself would never have become the Lich King.
The fleeing Draenei were not corrupted so… Blame away…
You can’t blame someone for actions they took when mind controlled and brainwashed because their actions were not their own… The fleeing Draenei were under no one’s control.
If we’re gonna blame the corrupted we’re gonna have to put to death every Orc who fought under the influence of demon blood, if we’re gonna blame the corrupted we’re going to need to put to death every Forsaken and Knight of the Ebon Blade who was formerly Scourge, regardless of whether or not they are a good person.
Right, they were not corrupted, I wasn’t trying to say that they were. More or less getting at how far back do you keep pushing the blame before it’s too far. If you absolve Arthas of the blame because he was corrupted and shift the blame to Ner’zhul and then shift his blame to the Legion, can you not also blame the Draenei since they’re the ones who led the Legion to Draenor in the first place? Had they not traveled to Draenor and left the natives 100% oblivious to the corrupting danger that they knew was absolutely following them, do they not share some of the responsibility for everything that Azeroth and Draenor suffered?
The point, Omc, is that you don’t blame people for things they did when someone else had control over their mind… The Draenei chose to do what they did, therefore they are to blame. The Legion may have driven them from Argus and chased them across the cosmos, but they chose to keep that to themselves instead of warning the denizens of Draenor of what was coming.
Found some text specifically regarding trolls thoughts on undead. All of these nps are at the terrace of the speakers in Dazar’alor. This is a place where representatives for every troll tribe throughout Azeroth meet.
Bloodscalp speaker: “Ya be believin’ da Horde be followin’ some little dead elfie for warchief? Weak.”
Firetree speaker: “For all de Zandalari talk about hatin’ da undead, de sure be playin’ nice wit de Horde’s new warchief.”
Winterax speaker: “I hate da elves. I hate the undead. Da Horde be havin’ both.”
As old and large as the troll empires are, it’s amazing they only have a few instances of trolls turning to necromancy. When you compare them to humans, necromancy occurs much more frequently among humans.
There is a VERY large difference between reading and understanding it. If you read something that you are is “fact” in this case lore written by the creators and they make two statements are are contradictory how would you go about explaining that? That’s what i’m pointing out, that contradiction. If you’re still reading a text that’s fine but don’t go around explaining exactly what the text means when you haven’t finished reading it, it just comes off like a pre-schooler explaining to a collage student what schools like.
No, sorry bud but you don’t have to read the entire book to talk on a specific topic. You can read the sections that are relevant to your topic and talk about them. You were going to argue whatever mr. Pally posted weather you agreed or not and that is the worse kind of forum poster as It adds nothing to the conversation.
I dont understand why people are so mad about Zandalari Paladins. You realize Alliance has Death Knights??? The Alliance cries screams and faints and the thought of the undead but a death knight can come to the inn and have the mayors daughter hand in marriage.
There’s undead Scarlet Crusade paladins in EPL right now. There’s been cow paladins for ages. Freethinkers and Prelates have been around a long time too. A daemon got lightforged.
Humans are a vile, hideous and corrupt race with an affinity for all sorts of dark magics, especially necromancy. There may be as many undead Humans as living. The Humans have no affinity whatsoever towards the light and have shown no interest in learning its ways.
Now we are expected to believe that this abominable race can be warriors of the light?
