"""Ysera isn't Nelf content"""

If Edgy Anduin doesn’t come back with an edgy ponytail, I’m eating this entire franchise without ketchup.

Nah, he is going to go to a void elf stylist and get a full out Skrillex Haircut.

Its not a phase, Genn!

I was thinking, like Nightwing’s pony tail, but Undercut Anduin sounds fun, too.

Nooo, please, just leave us alone until the current crop of writers have been replaced.

Can we meet in the middle for Asric and Jadaar side story shenanigans then?

Certainly. That’s always a fun prospect

Not during War of Thorns. Not when all the Horde players were cracking jokes and laughing at Night Elf players. It wasn’t until Horde players started also losing when their tone changed.

Then get comfortable playing the villain faction, because that is the choice you are making.

Don’t know about the Pandaren, but the Humans who did that stuff to the Orcs are in the Horde now.

Well yes, but most significantly would be Darkshore in BfA. Shandris had her cameo in Nazjatar, but oddly enough we probably spent more with doing King Mrgl-Mrgl’s daily quests than we did with her there.

True, and we did help them and the Frost Dryad there, too, but it was mostly focused on helping Archmage Modera.

That is not entirely correct.

How far does involvement go? The Noble Lords with a say? The soldiers who enforced the will of the Noble Lords? The common peasant who payed taxes to fund the nation-state?

Either way, a great many are in the Alliance, as well.

Honestly, I wish we would stop bringing up the MoP opening as evidence of anything for either faction. In both cases, it was a case of sha corruption so what it actually says about the ethics of either faction is at best murky…

And the Horde kidnapped pandarens kids so their parents would be forced to work for them. Not to mention the quest had a kinda iffy "they agreed to work for the Alliance but the quest makes so they didn’t know it was suppose to be a war base/they felt they were being worked too hard.

Which again was something both blood elves and forsaken are as culpable of considering they were in the Alliance at the time. Nevermind the fact the Horde had just tried to genocide the entire world.

To be honest given pretty much all the camps were in Lordaeron, I’ve always found it disappointing that this never came up. An Orc working alongside one of their former prison guards who is now an undead Forsaken? Would make for some amazing interactions I feel.

On the topic of the Pandaria stuff, surprisingly Blizzard managed to make it somewhat equitable in terms of both factions mistreating the local Pandaren. The leaders of both groups are very clearly telegraphed as being influenced by the Sha to make their negative traits like paranoia that much stronger, which leads to what initially had been a mutual arrangement into what it was when the rest of us arrived.

The Alliance leader’s journal even showcases his slow descent into paranoid insanity and cruelty.

I don’t think the whole pandaria thing really counts for either side, because both sides were under the influence of the Sha at the time.

I will say though that the point of that Sha corruption was to showcase how the darker tendencies of both factions could be preyed upon no matter what justification existed. Which was… pretty cool as a concept and much more nuanced in terms of writing than what followed afterwards, even immediately after in WoD.

Maybe 2014 Blizzard had a gas leak that was never found.

Found the guy who’s never done Shadowmoon valley.
Elune has moonwells and priests consecrating demons and expelling them.
lol, lmao

I blame Alex Afrasiabi for that. Sylvanas was just the tool he used to do it. She’s as much a victim as we are.

(Note: I didn’t bother to do the Horde campaign in BfA, so I didn’t side with either party. Neither choice sounded appealing.)

Too little, too late. Won’t fix the fundamental problem.

You are at best distorting things in your memory and at worst deliberately lying.

It’s like 3 quests. If that’s what constitutes a focus then every race has gotten a focus with every expansion. Except Mechagnomes, they were immediately ignored and never heard from again after their introduction patch.

My Garrison has 26 active Night Elf followers, Night Elf Sentinel guards, and playing music from Ashenvale, so I give Draenor a pass on having less Night Elf content than most expansions.

That’s just customization though, you can do that with all the base races. You literally just play through the campaign and you can unlock racial guards. So you chose for it to have all of those, it’s not the vanilla version.
