And not the actual genicide?

Not necessarily a good impact though Kail. Him dying the way he did, doesn’t absolve him or the horde of what they did. The act still happened and that’s the issue at hand and one horde players are tired of being rubbed in their face constantly

We get it, teldrassil was horrible. We don’t need to be reminded of it every single day.

I’ll let you guys confuse in-universe and meta perspectives as much as you want. I won’t fight to get my point understood when it’s so obvious what I’m talking about

By siding with Sylvanas, you side with the person who ordered it, though.

I wanted to go to the resort instead of either choice, tbh.

A group of orcs dressed and talking like upper-class Victorian Englishmen stop in shock, some dropping their cups of tea or plates of cucumber sandwiches. More than one monocle pops out from it’s socket in surprise.

“Miss Murder Thirty!? I say, it simply isn’t done!”

Yes, and no. That is how nations work IRL too after a war. A new Founding myth lets them disassociate themselves with what they did before it.

I dont think there is any way for it not to be pointed out, it isnt like the Horde did a Germany/Japan and willingly severely restricted (or totally gave up) their military as a show of good faith. It is sorta weird they got off with as light a slap on the wrist as they got really. Unless you wanna say both sides were just so depleted no one could actually project force anymore.

And Saurfang was the one who carried out the War of Thorns. So what’s your point?

He didn’t know the plan.

I guess what she wanted to say it is that by siding with saurfang/baine - she would feel ooc as a person uncomfortable because she didn’t want to “betray” the horde.

It was not an choise between sylvanas and saurfang in her pov but an choise between pro horde or anti-horde.

Because that’s exactly what happened. Neither side had much of a military by the end

He still carried out the War of Thorns as Sylvanas originally laid it out.

Good thing there was a time skip and Mr. shiny McHoly put all his focus into rebuilding the Alliance army. I am sure that won’t end poorly for anyone.

The black moon army was and is still intact. Even shadow rising mentioned/highlighted this

This is likely the closest thing there is to a sane* reason why they didn’t just keep fighting to the death after N’zoth’s defeat until one or both sides were completely destroyed.

*no, I’m not counting ‘Listening to Anduin’s advice’ as a sane reason.

There’s a time skip for both factions and both sides are likely up to fully military capacity by now :dracthyr_lulmao:

So far the Horde isnt noted as working hard on rebuilding their army. I sort of am waiting for Turalyon to strike tbh. Its like there is faint jaws music in the background. Won’t be this expansion, but the next, if the cosmic expansion wheel of fun lands on Light? Yea…

Eh. We’ll see. I doubt it though. With what we’ve seen from Dragonflight so far, blizz seems to leaning AWAY from doing a faction war for the time being. :dracthyr_nod:

But wait, then the Horde will get saved by moody emo antihero Void Anduin. Its all looming towards us.
