we’ll talk about sylvanas all we want. Just learn to deal with it
This is a problem that’s been happening with a lot of people here recently. If you disagree with them they’ll get pissy and start throwing tantrums. Ironic how Micah keeps telling me to grow up.
You should grow up. Again, you’re the last person to be calling anyone out
and you are allowed to do it, its not forbidden to talk about sylvanas BUT…its in no way an excuse to be toxic if someone disagree with you in term of sylvanas story intepretation.
if someone dared to not agree with your opinions or even proofed you very clearly wrong (i remember your book summary, yeah?), you got insulting and toxic af…and this is not ok.
And micah, you can talk about sylvanas aswell if you want, but both of you are grown adults…so if someone disagree with your points, then take it like a grown man/woman, and not like a child.
That should apply to everyone here. None y’all are innocent. You know that right?
Okay mom, I promise I won’t be mean to the other kids anymore.
What? everyone agreed with my book summary, I was the only one who had the book and you all treated me like crap because you didn’t trust I was telling the truth but I was, when other people got the book they confirmed I was right, everything I said was accurate (except for the couple of times I exaggerated for humor sake) but you are German and you don’t understand English, you probably don’t get the nuance of sarcastic humor.
next time, If I get the dragonflight book before anyone else I am not going to share any spoilers. Ya’ll are not worth it. You all are ungrateful.
I’m not promising I won’t be mean to people who act out
I remember, Evelysaa, that she also got the book and then even copied the passages, so that one has a comparison and then there was a big argument, at first, yes, people believed you, you had it earlier, but when other people got it bit by bit, your bias was exposed, you said as a defense that this does not bother you. …because, everyone knew that you are bias and take the liberty to twist and interpret everything in this sense, I still remember very well this…point of contention.
only the relationship parts and I explained because they embarrassed me. I explained why I wasn’t going to be accurate before I shared my feelings on the scenes. I’m sorry you thought I owed you anything. I didn’t owe you an accurate retelling of the book. I answered everyone’s questions truthfully and accurately.
Evelyssa is a jerk. But you prioritize his opinion over mine beecause you are biased against me, and that’s fine I don’t like you either.
Honestly, I would have to check. It was probably a passage in either Arthas/Beyond the Dark portal. Even WoWpedia has things that slip though the cracks.
She’s in Ardenweald because Tyrande had to put her down in Val’Sharah and Elune purified her soul. (apparently however she didn’t heal her since we had to save her soul again in Ardenweald)
The Lore is muddied, the Aspects were supposed to be primitive proto-drakes that were uplifted by Titan Science. Elune’s association with Ysera may have occurred as a matter of adoption but we’re not told either way.
It’s more like Druid content is dominated by Night Elf themes. The tauren even put a lampshade on this in the discussion that presages the creation of the Sunwalkers.
The Night Elf Druids spent over ten thousand years in the Emerald Dream as part of the watch on Nordrassil, some all the way through others apparently in shifts.
Since the Dream is pretty much the Green Flight’s primary residence and area of concern it’s natural that they and Night Elf Druids developed associations over time. Apparantly Akiyass and others don’t accept this as Druids are not just a “Night Elf only” thing.
It’s far more accurate to acknowledge that there is significant overlap. In Classic Druids were pretty much a night elf show in the former Warcraft 3 night elven capital of Nighthaven with Tauren pretty much just along for the ride.
Is this the time we remind you that Elune isn’t exclusively a Night Elven thing?
Despite the fact that the place is literally FULL of Night Elf and ONLY Night Elf Druids? that there is a Temple of Elune there? A fricking World Tree? Cenarious and Malorne play roles there? What more do you need? or is it the presence of Worgen that’s causing you to spill your tea?
I could not have said this better.
Suramar was a lot more than just the place where Moon Priestesses hung their hats. It was a major Highborne city, second only to Azshara’s capital.
Apparently the presence of non-Night Elves such as the Worgen city and the fact the Druid Order Hall might have non-Kal’dorei in it spoils it for her. She and Fan’dral Staghelm would have been best buds.
The Sisters of Elune have never been the overwhelming dominant Night Elf culture. They were just a cult in Azhara’s empire and they were co-equal with the Druids in Teldrassil through Ashenvale.
And when he didn’t finish of Malfurion when he was specifically told to do so…, when the point of the entire war campaign was to draw Malfurion out for that specific purpose.
if you have a issue with evelyssa, you should talk to her, but to play here now the victim don´t suit you…Ren, we all know there were plenty of examples that you got - intentional or not, i do not necessarily impute intent to you - wrong, because of your bias and it was a big debatte.
And my point is more around Correctness then personal sympathie.
I think it entirely is about the Emerald Dream and Freya originally tapping into the dream and that’s how the connection with Elune started. But there was also some theories around in Legion that Elunara, the home planet of Eonar, that she was somehow connected to Elune. We still have to find the connection between Eonar and Elune to connect her to Y’sera.
Of course not, he’s a man.
I don’t know why this is still a knockdown dragout.
It’s pretty much acknowledged that Sylvannas was set up by one or more developers specifically to spite one or more others. The fact that Blizzard’s creative department got so incredibly self-toxic should be the clue that the only way to deal with cockups of BFA’'s story is to simply let all of it go for better or worse.
I have a major amount of fondness for both Sylvannas and Tyrande two of my favorite huntresses. Tyrande’s identity as a priestess is a distant second place in my experience. As she’s far more of an active agent as a huntress than she ever is as a Priest.
you were on my block list for so long and I unblocked you because I was like, “Maybe he’s changed and he’s mellower now.” Nope. You can take a long extended holiday on my block list. Bye Felicia.
i´m still not felicia…you can find my char under Evrim - die Aldor EU
Once upon a time Fan’dral escaped from his defeat in the Firelands, checked into the barbershop in Stormwind, and after a quick session in the chair, walked out as Akiyass.
Old Hillsbrad Foothills also showed us that the people who ran Durnhold Keep lived over in Tarren Mill. And the people of Tarren Mill are now part of the Forsaken.
The people of Lordaeron threw a parade for Arthas when he came back from Northrend. They showed him the same lavish fawning that stroked his ego as they showed to Sylvanas once she crowned herself queen. You’d think they would have learned from the first time their ruler betrayed their blind loyalty.
Tyrande and Sylvanas were the first female racial leaders they were both my favorite when I first started playing in vanilla. The Tyrande vs Sylvanas fight scene in Ardenweald made me so happy, I wanted to see them go head to head for the longest time I was not dissapointed. Tyrande is so strong and intimidating and Sylvanas is so cunning it was amazing.
I don’t understand why this cinematic makes so many people mad, because to me it feels like wish fulfillment.
I loved the ending too where Tyrande doesn’t forgive, I was like “good for her.” you know that Arrested Development meme. That’s empowerment, I loved it. she doesn’t have to forgive and forget, she’s a formidable enemy to Sylvanas. I want Sylvanas to go head to head with her in the future I want Tyrande to win some, I want Sylvanas to win some. Both characters deserve to be powerhouses in their respective factions.
