current content player, clearly.
IF I were playing like that, sure…what we have is twice what I need.
Since I dont play like that, its not.
I farm allover the game world AND play current content. and a number of times Ive ended up with a full quest log trying to play the game as I play it.
I get it, Ion hates old content so of course the man has little inclination to accomodate those of us who DO run old questlines for transmogs…but this game has grown and so QoL changes should be made…including simply doubling the quest list, which has no bearing on a single trolling sort here in this thread arguing against it (not you, of course, you seem to just be offering a simple opinion)
On the other hand it’s called discussing the two sides of a debate. They have their opinion on the matter, I have mine. Why is there’s more valid than mine?
I’m not telling them they’re wrong, nor am I telling them to stop having an opinion. I’m asking them to expand on their reasoning. Telling them to back up their position with reason and logic and not “because I want to”. That doesn’t go over well.
I haven’t been flagged, unless you just following me and flagging me which is another form of trolling. It’s not bullying because I’m not picking on THEM. I’m picking on the topic at hand. Which is: you don’t need a bigger pantry to house more dog food when you don’t have a dog
There are valid arguments, you just disagree with them so you call them invalid (much like calling someone a troll because they don’t share your view on something).
A valid argument is: you can pick up and drop quests at will. You’re not locked into those quests once picked up until they’re completed. So if you pick up a quest in Iskaara and it fills up your quest log, but you’re not actively questing around Iskaara, you can drop the quest until you come back to that area, as that quest will still be there.
100% valid argument and 100% in your control.
Sure, but are you in both Northrend AND Shadowmoon Valley zones AT THE SAME TIME? No? Okay, so why are you holding onto Shadowmoon Valley quests while in Northrend? Why can’t you drop Shadowmoon Valley quests while in Northrend to get more Northrend quests. Then when you leave Northrend to go back to Shadowmoon Valley, why can’t you drop those quests from Northrend, a zone you’re no longer in, to pick up quests from Shadowmoon Valley?
Super annoying, & the items? I have several others who’s bank is filled with junk I’ve no idea safe to discard. Whenever it builds up to a certain point I make another character & abandon the hoarder one. I splurge on the best bags every expansion, invos & bank…
Edit: Maybe we can have another go at plunderstorm? Plunder those useless bank items:) There’s many wonderful items to choose from, some poor guys head I found in a dungeon back in cata for example… I’ll have to find the spear it’s supposed to go on one of these days I reckon’…
And when its a questline that self destructs and you cant get it back? Ive been farming old mogs, had to delete and literally lost the ability to get the questline back.
YOU may be ok with that, I am not.
hyperbole much?
we’re asking for the quest list to be doubled…not asking for world peace.
literally arent READING anything posted here at all, are you? lol
ironically youre posting where you dont need to post or concern yourself AT ALL.
doubling the quest list for those who DO need it wont break your game…I promise.
And not doubling it won’t break your game either (especially since it was untouched for 18 years), I promise.
Holding onto quests for the sake of holding onto them is the exact same issue hoarders have, and is considered a mental illness. Now I’m not saying the same thing applies…but when the two start turning into a Venn Diagram…
Like I said earlier I don’t even notice the cap until I hit it, which I rarely ever do anymore, and when I do I know it’s time to clear some stuff out.
If I do that when I hit 30 (just using random numbers here) it’s a lot less time spent cleaning up than if I did it when I hit 100. So, honestly, yeah, it wouldn’t break my game but I’d rather not have a cluttered and packed quest log with a massive cap. I’m not interested in having a quest log that looks like my e-mail with 20,000 unread messages.
And if I have to start manually cleaning it up before the cap so I’m not scrolling for 5 minutes to find quests, then yes, it would affect my gaming.
Great for you.
Youre clearly one of those who isnt affected by the issue. Thats fine.
I AM. OTHERS ARE.
So you dont need to post in here on the matter if WE are asking for more space.
It makes you seem more like youre trolling, like the other guy who is obsessed here with irrelevance, than just offering an opinion and moving along.
Ive had a lot of respect for you on every other topic. I hope that doesnt need to change over THIS one that wont have ANY bearing on your game whatsoever if WE get a QoL improvement
I didnt play back then, so I didnt know all that. Interesting. So as the game expanded, the quest list was raised.
And now we have what…10 areas of content or so, give or take.
I think another increase is overdue.
I’ll gladly move on but please note that you responded to me (and have done so twice again since my last comment) and I simply responded back. I came in to give my opinion, not to target anyone specifically or to troll.
Sorry about that. Im bouncing all over about 20 websites right now, trying to update some of mine, half reading in here and also watching on a few chores around the house here. lol. Quite distracted to say the least. I think my life needs a bigger quest list too
