Enough for me to confuse a hurricane outside only to realize it was the tears coming from these forums.
Exactly, because its a game from 2005. Its dated and old. WoW in 2020 should be Classic but better. Instead, its some dysfunctional game that is trying to become a competitive game.
The only tears that were had were the ones people who posted in the threads with me had when we were bawling our eyes out in laughter at the people who said they were never gonna make essences account bound.

I guarantee blizz will allow free changing on covenants before or at mid expansion hell maybe even b4 it hits… This forcing into one of four with no good way to leave without a hard time returning along with the soulbinds make this really really complicated and it like many systems before I can see not making it as is long.

Fear not tho, you can always play a real competitive game out there if that is what you are craving. Scripted challenging content tends to be a dumb at times tho, so maybe you can wait for Overwatch 2 and see how it goes.
Irony it was sites like Elitist Jerks ( which was his guild’s web site ) that pretty much was the begining of the meta builds.
Man i remember you had to have a PHD to wade through that place.

It’s gonna be very funny seeing you realize how bad this is when you’ll either be declined by groups, or made fun of for 2 years for picking a bad covenant, or when you want to try something new and you can’t, or when you suddenly decide you want to make your character stronger and you can’t, and so on.

It won’t happen. I played WoW for most of the time without reading internet guides or anything. Stuff are pretty streamlined nowadays. The game plays by itself. I won’t be declined in groups, no matter what gimmicky build I come up with. Im all in for covenants.
I honestly hope covenants are a trainwreck just to see the outrage.

It was always a competitive game just because you are not a part of that circle back then doesn’t mean it didnt exist. Rankings have always existed

There will certainly be groups advertising that ask you to link your covenant, if it’s poorly balanced. And it will be.
There will likely be far more people who will loose their raid spot if they happen to choose wrong, since they will be out perforned by the other guy who chose right.
I don’t understand why they think this game needs these borrowed abilities in the first place. They’ve been nothing but trouble since they day thet were inttoduced. Do we really have to suffer through another two years of this?
Its not delusion. Its reality. Ive been playing BfA for a little bit over a month without checking guides and I have cleared all the mythic dungeons above lvl 11(hardest iteration of it) and almost done with the mythic raid.
The only real activity in this game that requires skill is PvP and even that was ruined by these dysfunctional systems introduced to please people like the OP.

Still in the air but by release day sites like Icy-Veins and wowhead will pretty much have the meta builds up for each spec.
It’s still very dependent on their power. Hopefully Thursday (if there’s a class with both legendaries and fully upgraded conduits in) when there’s raid testing we’ll see just how much of your throughput is dependent on covenant abilities.
Corruption was introduced by Blizzard and killed PvP this patch LOL

I mean as a real example when I’m forming my own M+ group I actually don’t look at score that much. I look at what corruption they have. If it’s a brain dead DH that has 3k io but has 0/2 lash of the void, insta decline poor soul. You aint getting carried in my group no matter how good you think you are. LOL.
