The above examples are no merely ‘participating’. They are trolly toxic behaviors specifically to tilt or annoy another player(s) to the emotional benefit of the dominant player/faction. These are not wpvp - when the victim has no chance of fighting back it’s just harassment.
If you think that inting is wpvp, you’re part of the problem.
I never said fair. I said fun. If both sides are not having fun, then you are just creating an environment where one side is going to leave and the ‘winners’ get left wondering why there’s no one left.
Keep in mind that Faerlina was a very well balanced server (as far as we can tell from IronForge.Pro at least) throughout all of WoW Classic. It wasn’t until a few months after TBC Classic came out that that changed.
Although it’s difficult to say exactly why it changed as drastically as it did, it seems that somehow the combination of people transferring to Faerlina Horde and from Faerlina Alliance prior to free transfers for those servers that were closing had already paved the way to signal that it was the Horde destination server and Alliance should jump ship or be overwhelmed.
Yeah? so what? Call in reinforcements or GASP friends.
Greys that need friends to watch over them and help them out, and not just ignore their cries for help.
lmao crying about superior numbers is hilarious.
Yes. And it worked for you apparently. This is the exact reaction theyre looking for. And the exact one coded into the game to illicit out of people like you.
Your response is SUPPOSED to be anger, then vengeful wrath. Get a group together to fight bak and you know…play the game.
Thats why. Most servers ended up being horde dominated though out of all classic. Alliance players normally are more skeptical as to the balance of each faction since they prob had to transfer off many servers because they were vastly outnumbered
you don’t get to decide what is fun in world pvp - point is in world pvp you take the advantage, most people say they want world pvp when they do want is 18th century european warfare where you meet in a field shake hands, stand in a line and fire at each other.
Ok. Yes. Now i see your point. Its more to do with capping the max people allowed though. It doesnt really have anything to do with the balance. In other words. We currently have servers that are one sided. 20 thousand alliance only. If they cap at 40 thousand and fill up horde, it doesnt change alliance ah at all.
You can do this! But only if youre at the disadvantage lol.
I chased around a deathknight last night until they would fight me 1 on 1. we did the whole square off and salute thing and everything lol but man you gotta work for scenarios like this.
The chase lasted ages before they finally relented lol. I lost. But man that experience was worth it lol.
Now i got a rival DK to hunt down when i improve my pvp skill.
Maybe, but idk if their presence is also just overhyped. As far as I know most (if not all) of them had quit around P2-ish anyway, quite a while before TBC launched, and even several months before there was any noticeable population difference.
Yeah, and thats absolutely fair. Why not want an advantage that you can take for free whenever you feel like it at character creation.
Pfew…run on sentences. anyway. Yeah i dont blame anyone for taking racials to min max, its what the game is asking you to do anyway. “Do things to make your numbers better” is kind of one of the biggest goals in wow.
Its just that its a huge shame that imbalance is a symptom of this as well.
