What do you consider that barrier to be? Because if it’s 424 ilvl then it just requires you to do the weekly world content and have an understanding of crests and crafting orders?

Well if you want to tank for any raid, you have to sink several extra hours reading boss fight mechanics ahead of time or get the boot.

Not counting the extra time it takes to setup addons, discover rotations, enchants, gems, food, finding the right guild, rubbing the right shoulders…on and on and on…

Tell me you don’t know anything about raid tanking without telling me you don’t know anything about raid tanking. Seriously it’s the easiest role in the raid by a country mile and if you really feel like doing pre-work it’s like a 3 minute video per boss.

I know this is going to ruffle some feathers, but I wouldn’t mind solo dungeons that did drop progression gear… as long as the challenge was commensurate with such rewards.

Regardless of ease to play in raids, it’s not a role a ton of people prefer. Not exactly hard to understand.

People are still disagreeing the the world is round, so whatever floats your boat.

It’s pressure because your mistakes are so visible, but realistically outside of mythic it devolves to taunt on X and don’t die. Positioning comes up on a handful of fights but not often and generally everything a tank is doing is pretty intuitive.

Shrug the shortage speaks for itself.

Not every player is going to have the experience to extract the succulent information in 15 minutes.

Its about that progression man. Start tanking normal dungeons, then heroics, then lfr, then mythics, then normal raid. And once youve done that for one tier, you should be able to hope right on into the next tier.

Which isn’t anywhere near 15 minutes a piece.

Honestly I’d love to see a New World style housing system.

Just make instanced plots within the main city of the xpac. It cycles through player houses so you can walk through and look around.

We don’t need another garrison, class hall, or randomly located areas. Main city. Plots literally WITHIN the city, on main roads so it creates a seamless/cohesive zone.

Well outside of group play there isn’t any meaningful progression.

It’s all locked behind vault activities.

Not everybody can turn off their brain to run on the hamster wheel.

What purpose would this housing serve?
