Let people have fun/chill. After trying m+25 or mythic raiding, sometimes it feels really nice to one shot everything and looking for old tmogs.
You want challenge? There are plenty in current content.
Old content, all of it should be soloable.
Then old rewards lose prestige.

There are a bazillion things to do in game old content wise.
What do you want me to do live and die in warcraft?

I think that making everything more difficult, less fun, and generally inaccessible, really toughens people up and prepares them for the real world. Games used to be torture, and this whole "make games fun" thing is just contributing to the degeneracy of our culture.

The simple fact that this has been allowed to continue in various forms from the same person for days on end just tells me that the mods around here have got to be completely clueless. Literally everybody here but them knows this is trolling, plain and simple.

I think it’s kind of late to do it with old content since it’s already been soloed for over a decade in many cases, but if they had thought about it in advance, it would have made sense to maybe re-factor old raids into cosmetic farming 5 mans.
Maybe they could add queueable 5 man versions of old raids during time-walking with higher drop rates of rare mounts and what not. It’s not like soloing Ulduar is interesting as you one shot everything a million times.
