Like you said, people can just solo ICC and old raids. If they scale it, then people will have to group again which is a huge win for WoW from an MMO perspective.

These are digital items you do not own, therefore there is no “prestige” attached to it. You leased them on the condition you forego claimer’s right. Read the EULA.

There’s a big difference between someone earning an Ashes from before achievements were a thing via feat of strength when grouping was mandatory to DF when you can farm it blind folded on 20 alts.
There is, yes. The achievement is the only thing which provides the only validation you’re looking for. But otherwise nobody really cares for these concerns.

If Blizzard had made it so old content doesn’t become just absolutely useless to max level characters the moment it isn’t current, including with in the same expansion, I might agree with you.
Seeing as how we’re on our 9th expansion and outside of the rare times they do anything with the old content and often when they do they go the route of just removing the old version and replacing it, hard disagree.
