Despite the obvious trolling, and the realization that I would in fact not like 24/7/365 timewalking, I do like the idea of being unable to solo old raids and dungeons. I just think it would grow terribly disfunctional where you would not find the people you need to run key instances for rare transmogs and then you’d have to roll against them, if they even appear in the first place with crazy bad RNG systems like in Molten Bore.
Just don’t think mogging could withstand this idea.

The crazy thing is that there’s 15 people at least as drunk as him. 
Low key wanted this forever. Scale all the things for raid and mythic+ cause it’s better than the crap rotation we end up with. Even better, IO would be based on your best dungeon for each expansion. Hot damn, a troll had a good idea, look at this guy go.

Your mentality is the actual problem.
Unfortunately this has been a feature that players strived for since it could be done a long time ago, due to power creep. Recent expac raids are the only ones that are still challenging to solo however, and no doubt they will be soloed in due time. (At least for mythic) Even if you don’t want older raids to be soloable, never underestimate someone with a big enough commitment to actually pull it off.
There should have never been prestige associated with those mounts in the first place.

Actually some of my best wow memories are in uldar 10/25 during cata with a group of guildes trying for achievements with them makeing almost everything prior to the current exp soloable most of them have quit
Unless they made old raids gear scale to the new expansion, no, they should keep it how it is, in fact they should make them easier, like how in BFA we still cannot solo some raids, that needs to change.

And if I want to farm old raids/dungeons outside of Timewalking (because I stopped doing that kind of group content back in Wrath, and the only way I can see them is when I can solo them, 3 expansions later), I can!
We both get what we want!

Not sure if its logical just because its coming from you. People farm the old raids for tmog/mounts because its easy a few xpacs later. If ypu wanna keep it challenging or force people to group it would probably do more harm than good. Ffxiv gets away with it because after 99 lich king kills you can just buy the mount. Why run with 8 other people for me to have a 1/8 chance of getting it after passing the 1% check?
If gear was scaled up to even just last raid then new raids would be meaningless because of all the broken weapons and trinkets. Also just a nightmare to scale 18 years of content just to piss off your community.
