You refuse to listen to your community (about twinks)

If they mess twinking up again i’ll just switch back to runescape like I have always done in the past. My money, my choice.

What’s wrong with rofl stomping people? Why does it have to be for competition? They pay a sub fee like everyone else.

As an altoholic trying do some battlegrounds, twinks drain all the fun out of it.

If there are twinks on the other team then i may aswell just /afk because they don’t die and instead just walk around 3 shotting people. If there are twinks on my team I’m just watching them play whack-a-mole at the enemy gy since the enemy team is dying so fast i don’t even get to join in on the pvp. How is this fun for either team? Oh wait its not fun, except for twinks ofcourse, hence why they dont see any problems at all and are desperate to keep q’s together

Why should we put up with this nonsense so a tiny little minority doesn’t have to deal with longer q times? (Keep in mind you don’t see more than 2-3 twinks per random bg)

This thread is talking in circles at this point.

Perhaps they should just remove experience from battlegrounds altogether. People passing through aren’t going to be on the same level as those who have gone the extra mile.

But we all know where that would lead. BG’s would rarely pop. Twinks need casual levelers to get games. Casual levelers don’t need twinks.

People still queued bgs when they gave zero exp.

Sure, during the peak of the game (Wrath, BC, and Vanilla). You think there’s going to be people lining up to do low level battlegrounds without the allure of experience in 2018?

If thats the case, exp off should have been a hustle and bustle place when they were split. Oh wait, it wasn’t.

Many old soldiers will agree that these were the most glorious of times within the brackets. The golden era.

You think back on it so fondly, yet you fight tooth and nail to not separate the queues again.

Separating the queues would achieve your “golden era” where everyone in the battleground is there to pvp, no afk/bads/undergeared people cluttering it up.

I support whatever Blizzard decides to do within the lower brackets.
Currently we are seeing lots of attention and awareness to balance the lower brackets, as we have since BFA launch.
Blizzard understands through previous endeavors that there are much better solutions than separating the player base.
The direction that I notice happening is a movement aimed at balancing battlegrounds for everyone.

Everyone playing together in a somewhat balanced / accessible environment is the challenge, which seems to be working well.

This thread does seem to consistently spiral into splitting hairs, circles, or personal attacks. I am pretty sure I have heard this subject of twinking talked about at length before, as well as the personal attacks…

Here is some food for thought.

Xpon Xpoff queues are separate.
We make a leveling Battleground Farm Community.
Create some geared 40s or 41s in Fully Enchanted BOAS.
Enchanted BOA weapons.
Utilize the best crafted items, mixed with the best greens that are littered on AH.
Form a group with the ideal comp for current meta, Fury, Disc, MW, Arcane, Outlaw, Hunter.
Join separated bracket.
Destroy.

Forums explode, same as they did before.
What changed?

Well, at least you are honest. I am not sure what fun there is when there is little competition, but you be you.

Love it

Everyone wins when the queues are split.

If you want to waste your time leveling up and re-gearing yourself for every bracket, thats fine.

Just for arguments sake spending 600,000+ gold on a character thats permanent might seem worth it. Spending 600,000+ gold on a character you’ll have to delete and reroll is going to drain your funds eventually. The AH will eventually dry up of those items as well.

Investing in a character one time at a premium is a no-brainer. Investing a lot in a character you’ll either level out of or delete and reroll isn’t worth it for most people.

In fact I could say exp-off twinks are the lazy ones. Farm the gear once, buy the enchants once, then you are set forever. No gear treadmill, no wasted time/gold. Expecting levelers to do that every single bracket when you don’t is the epitome of lazy.

I just love how extreme people will exaggerate to push their point. 600,000 gold? ROFL. Yeah sure, okay. Try more like 10k or less. Can be 20k or more though if you are willing to buy stuff off the AH at inflated prices (cause some enchants are rare and sellers try to take advantage). Depends on your realm.

If you spend 600,000 gold then you either have way to much gold that you don’t care about or you’re an idiot. Certan brackets do have rare items like Edwards hand and destiny for 59s. Those can go for 30-120k gold due to rarity and demand. I suppose if you are buying epic epics for the 110 bracket or something it could get that expensive. I certainly wouldn’t bother.

Did you miss that part or are you incapable of reading or…? Nice job failing to address the rest of my post.

Go ahead and admit you are lazy.

600 k is ridiculous. some people might do that, but i spent very little on this exp off character.

bfa has made it extremely easy to be competitive with exp off twinks. its actually not worth spending that kind of gold when you can be solid for virtually nothing

If thats the case lets remove the ability to shut off experience altogether. You can level and go the extra mile through bfas “extremely easy” grind repeatedly.

Or are you above the treadmill you expect levelers to do?

nah, we will leave it like it is
