"You have been reported for language multiple times"

Yikes, indeed. Are you blind?

OOF. Checkmate.

That happened to me earlier this week. The only thing I had done in the last few minutes before this warning was post my profession service in trade. I assume that was it, just kinda sad that people are reporting me over it. Probably just people angry over my low prices.

At this point I think they’re just trolling.

Hard to tell with some people around here, though. Especially the anti-addon crowd.

“I don’t like their opinion and it upsets me so they are trolling. they have to be.” Cope addon abuser.

Warning - Communication - Support / Customer Support - World of Warcraft Forums (blizzard.com)

Sure, but people can still be actioned for any addon that throws out text when something happens. There’s more around in the CS forums but it’s hard to find just by searching certain terms.

You are welcome to return to that other game that has addons/mods as against ToS. Because WoW sure isn’t getting rid of them, bud, no matter how much you cry your little heart out about it.

But you are definitely trolling. Or in serious need of some therapy. I’m trying to give benefit of the doubt and hoping it’s the first one, though. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

"Do you use any addons that might give callouts when you use an ability? If you are speaking very little in an instance, that is the only thing that comes to mind that might be annoying to others.

If you do, you might want to see if you can reduce or remove that messaging."

This is what the devs think.

Well, the NPC’s aren’t happy with you. I think that they reported you for interrupting them too much. That’s rude, you know!

Advising people not to have spammy chat messages in their addons, and planning to wholesale get rid of/not supporting addons, are two different and vastly unrelated things. :dracthyr_shrug:

Cope, I guess.

You’re right, the NPCs aren’t happy with me calling them out for cheating.

If you mean being unable to send messages for a bit that’s just from spamming the chat.

Hrm I believe you. Just in all occasions for me before I’ve been emailed with the exact reason so that’s what I’m going off.

Unable to send messages, whisper people, join the group finder, play the game with anyone other than friends, etc. Its a bigger issue than your making it. I don’t feel like I should be prevented from pugging M+ because I wanna sell profession stuff in trade chat.

In my experience, when people like you get reported, it’s because you spam your macro too much, people give you a quick report because it acts as a temp ignore.

Its not a macro, and its every 5 to 10 minutes on a server that even at non peak hours theres a new message in trade every 2 seconds. People should just put me on ignore if they don’t want to see me using trade for the very thing Blizzard intends it to be used for. Its not like I’d ever be talking to them anyway, and they clearly aren’t buying from me.

Maybe Blizzard should add a political channel to cities. Then I wouldn’t have to disrupt Proudmoore’s discussion on the president and identity politics. Maybe a sexual preference channel to where everyone can talk about their preferences to their hearts content.

Ok, i see why you’re being reported now lol

Care to explain?

initially when i responded, it was just to your first post, but after reading a lot of your responses to people in the discussion, i can see why people go out of their way to report you. I’m not trying to be mean or anything, you just seem to have the type of personality that easily attracts reports lol
