LFG is garbage/broken/useless/a dam joke… RDF seriously needs to be put back… if idiotic people wanna spend absurd amounts of time forming a group without it just LET THEM. RDF is the answer almost every person seeking to run dungeons is looking for.

Nope, i see your point, not enough tanks. People should prob make some and form new guilds or raid groups ect. Just saying.
I think having RDF for lower levels solves the issue for folks who want RDF to level alts. It allows folks who are leveling to have access to a larger pool of players given that most of the population will be at max level.
I think another solution is to integrate cross-realm into the current LFG tool which would function exactly how shadowlands operates. You still need to form groups, go to the instance, but you now have more people.

The only problem is server identity at max level when it become important. This is why ive always though 1-70, say right now normal dungeons, phase 2 add in 70-80 or even 1/2 way through phase 1 … xrealm is fine because its a point where people can take people they’ve met possibly and move to their server or decide to stay where they are to make a name for themselves. I wouldn’t even think of heroics til probably phase 3.

Right now implement rdf for lvls 1-70, 1/2 phase 1 or in phase 2 release add 70-80 depending on phase 1 length. Add heroics in the same fashion as normal dungeons with timing. Keep heroic+ out of it entirely throughout the expansion only adding it POSSIBLY on ICC release.
I could go more in depth why i think this fits everyones concerns but unless asked, i feel i’ve exhausted it on the forums in other threads.
While it’s possible that a few of the most extreme extroverts in the game can do this it doesn’t work for the vast majority. Almost everyone is in a guild and has a friend list yet still the lfg channel is often so full of people looking for pugs that it goes by too fast to read it. If simply cultivating a friends list was enough you wouldn’t see so many pugs.

Blizzard removed a staple from the game, and the forums exploded and then they caved.
I bet alot of people haven’t cultivated their friends list to even find out.

I doubt that. I’m an extreme introvert very far on the other end of the spectrum and even I have a friends list.
i have 6 people on mine no joke. I’ve always gravitated to guilds though /shrug
Yeah, guilds is where the socialization happens for most in the game
True not all but true … for me it’s because i run end game. I wasnt able to originally i had children i put my time into then raiding. This time no holds barred

This is the unfortunate reality of how things work. They aren’t interested in steering the ship away from the iceberg or stopping leaks. Only after the ship has already sunk do they try to do anything for it.

This must be a troll post because 99.9% of LFG is either thinly veiled racism, politics or random trolling. People looking for groups in LFG are the minority.
