You don't have forever anymore blizzard

I’m not sure how much credibility Asmonbald is adding to that. I have given up on any new MMO ever really succeeding, they all seem to fail regardless of the hype for them.

That’s the idea.

Same here, and I only very rarely play LoL, but I would play the HELL out of their MMO despite knowing pretty much nothing about their lore lol.

Ok it’s a 44 minute video. Are you saying we are suppose to sit there for 44 minutes while he tells us that WOW is going down the drain because of customizations (i.e. new toon costumes) or the size of the map?

That’s what your OP entry implies but could you give us the TLDR summary of your point?

Honestly, I would just go to Ashes of Creation channel and watch their vidoes and updates they do regularly. Its a massive time investment, but I think Lazy Peon does a better job of showing the games concepts. Asmon is a bit of too meme-e for that kind of content.

My computer won’t be handle it. I think a lot of players will be in the same boat as me.

So…

requirements in current testing.

Duke Nukem Forever was in development for fourteen years. You probably know how that game turned out, too.

How long a game is in development means nothing if the end result has nothing to show for it. Ashes of Creation or Riot’s MMO being in development for a very long time aren’t indicative of how good or how bad they are.

My point as well.

I just hope you all realize Ashes is an always on pvp game like new world or something. Just an fyi. Might even be full loot at times.

Is Ashes of creation even coming out? It’s only been teased for like 12 years now.

Its half way through the process. Once it finishes Alpha 2, and its beta it will be up for prepurchase/sell. If I remember correctly no box cost, and only a sub. No ingame store.

I’m of an opinion it would need to lose the stuff that makes an MMO an MMO.

Like you said, the grind can put people off and when you factor in BS lockouts players don’t like being halted in their journey to being powerful.

Gone are the days of Pentium 4, 4gb ram.

Start saving, no excuse to still be using an emachine.

The amount of time it has taken them to make this game is just absurd

I don’t but we’re in a horrible economy right now and computers aren’t cheap

I think people are hyping themselves up for a disappointment lol.

We all seen how well that went with Cyberjunk 2077…
