Don’t confuse your opinion with fact.
Oh I’m not, I just know the outcome is inevitable, but don’t worry I’m sure this time it will be different from all the failed attempts prior!
yup. Always ends the same way. When the people who are running around hunting everyone all of the time run out of prey, because they all quit, they hunt each other. Then they run out of people in the areas to hunt, get bored, and also quit. Then you end up with a game that has no players that needs players to fulfill the pvp as the centerpiece. It just doesn’t work. They need to stop trying.
Oh you’re a prophet? What a metric to use, your projected fear of another mmo succeeding. Brilliant.
No they have a system in place for that.
Indeed it’s quite funny when people like this guy learn the hard way and have their hopes and dreams for the game crushed, I almost feel bad for the guy, almost.
Its funny when people like yourself read one paragraph and think you know the entire book.
This question speaks volumes.
Ah yes, I’m sure you have watched asmon react to all the different videos on it enough to be an expert on the subject enough for us all. Like I said maybe it will be different this time, 80th times the charm!
I think Riots mmo has a shot, really all Blizzard has is a dusty room of awards from yesteryear.
No, I’ve spoken to the devs on IG, and I’ve also follow their regular posts on updates, including Lazy Peon. Asmon became aware of the game much later on.
Oof well, we’ll be here for you when it inevitably fails.
Only reason I’m back in WoW is due to new Devs at ESO, came back mid BFA. Not really sure what you mean. I had a 12 year hiatus from WoW. Doesn’t effect me either way.
Riots MMO is throwing money at the project. Bunch of big names working on it, including former WoW top heads. I actually think it’ll be the first MMO to take the crown from WoW and it sticks. FF14 occasionally surges in players but it never sticks for long. I think Riot are the first company I trust to make an MMO with staying power.
This is a good thing. It’ll make Blizzard need to try harder to maintain the game. Sitting on the throne for too long makes you lazy. They need to feel that hunger.
I hope someone does, Blizzard needs some innovation and motivation to fixing their content across the board. Its been eroding for a decade.
Yup Riots MMO is going to take most of the players from these smaller upcoming MMO’s, it’s also why Blizzard more than doubled the WoW staff so they can(they claim) put out smaller patches much faster most likely because they realize this is the first real competition that can surpass WoW long term.
They need this and then some, blizzard has been garbage for the past several years now it’s pretty embarrassing quite frankly, we will see if they improve at all in DF.
I salute you!
I came back after a couple of years being gifted a sub for classic, only played that about 2 hours then I had an epiphany.
Came back in SL, everything I did was I thought “Why am I doing this”?
Yeah, when I came back my first PvE experience as a fresh level 12 warlock in BFA was “Why aren’t you doing more damage!!?!? REEEEE” and they all had heirloom gear.
If a game doesn’t have much of a community, it won’t matter how good the quality or quantity of their content is generally. But if they have non of those things its just decaying. Idk, I don’t hate WoW, but its really seen better days with an active open world with players floundering about, now I can go just about anywhere and won’t see a single soul outside capital cities.
Yeah no doubt. If a new Elderscrolls RPG came out i’d just vanish for several more years and avoid WoW. Most of the community is absent anyway, there are more sales for PvE/PvP content than there are people who are consistent and wanting a community.
Problem with WoW is they turned everyone against each other, deleted community and told everyone they were stupid.
