pls next xpac think about reworking or adding a whole new ranking system. the current one is almost 25 years old now

They need to just inflate the brackets to BGB level. Make glad the same as duelist. It would make any of those mythic Andys queue up for 3s and would revive that bracket. It would also help with shuffle queue times. It would be a win win scenario for all of the modes.

The consequences of that would be dire, getting SLS1 flashbacks already.
The only time this game has been truly alive since I started playing were the first 2 seasons of SL. The devs just have too many elitist ex AWC players, so they would rather keep things exclusive rather than keep the game alive. It’s sort of like how Russia is, keeping the oligarchy happy, while the entire country suffers.

Yeah, but then u would have to give those people a reason to push, like an official Blizz rank list that would reflect in-game somehow.
Give who a reason to push? PvE players would flock to arena if they had the chance to earn the glad mount. Because right now, even tho it’s no longer % based, it’s still incredibly rare as if it was still % based.
You can’t sell out to pvers and 
on ur long term customers.
PVE players flocked to arena in SLS1 when pvp gear could be upgraded to mythic raid ilvl at Duelist and you could get a weapon equivalent of the last boss in Mythic raid at 2400.
Ilvl is the best motivator for PVE players to do anything in wow, including pvp

Most of the long term players have never seen a glad mount. Stop giving in to the elite and give people a real chance to earn it.
This change isn’t just for mythic players. It’s for everyone. Everyone who isn’t the top .5%.
I agree but u gotta give the sweatlords a reason to play aswell.
Let them fight for R1. The playerbase will be so large that there will be more R1 spots. Unironically, S1 SL had the most R1 spots ever.

I mean, it does make sense from a pure objective statistics standpoint. But would you be happy replacing the community with tourist just coming through for rewards then leaving right after?
I don’t think that’s the case tbh. I think there’s tons of players that aren’t happy with the situation of things and this fixes a lot of those problems.

Uh… I mean right now people are just coming and feeling disappointed and leaving 
I’d rather them give out more rewards and incentives people to play the game so we don’t have absurd q times. Why can’t they host tournaments like Fortnite does where top placers can earn special rewards?
Making Glad reachable by pvers sounds miserable, but saying that might make it easier to climb for pvpers.

I don’t understand why. Making glad attainable for the average benefits everyone. Even the elitist by having a more active game.
