Says the guy who never joined a raiding guild and had one or more people up and leave with a ton of mats.
Those same bag slots you get making alts? Lol.
well a couple of the other ones died somewhat once they were addressed by a blue post we agreed with.
a full blown QnA would kill most things most likely.
WoW isnāt destroyed though?
You can do that with almost anything that you oppose, you can try and paint it with a negative brush to try and make it look worse.
Actually, Iāve run guild bank alts, guild banks, and ran a Vanilla Raiding group for 9 months. I know the difficulties that weāll face, but thatās the same difficulties weāll face in a thousand places that we arenāt taking the easy way out of.
I doubt that.
Tempest Raid Group of the Thunder Down Under Alliance on Silver Hand.
I know the truth of the matter, youāre just arguing out of habit.
Nope. Itās because your attitude doesnāt follow with someone who actually lost a whole bank alt account worth of stuff.
How do you lose a bank alt?
No I was never that stupid.
EDIT: No really how??
well not everyone who gets taken advantage of is āstupidā
OMG dude seriously.
The whole POINT of guild banks in Classic was to prevent people from up and leaving with alts full of mats.
Pay. Attention.
I was the controller of the bank alt. I never stole from myself. Get more trustworthy friends.
LOL see? This is the typical troll response. They canāt argue that you can control other people so they just throw the onus on the poster.
Besides, the guild master, or anyone with the 10,000 slot access to tabs can steal it all anyway. Guild banks can increase the number of people capable of nicking your stuff.
You just said āget more trustworthy friendsā but now you say the GL can up and leave.
So you ADMIT that people can steal stuff.
? 10k slots?
That answer is two fold.
- Over the course of this on going discussion many people jumped in and screamed that this was about convenience and QoL. Completely ignoring what has been said since thread 1. This has been explained so many times. The conversation has been ran in circles with willful ignorance.
- Fez-see 1.
Yes, and guild banks make it EASIER.
No.
Not if the permissions are properly set on the bank. Can the GL have a meltdown? yes, but how often does that actually happen?
The problem is that for many people, thereās yet to be an explanation that isnāt about convenience. The security aspect seems to be the last remaining āgo toā argument, and its flawed.
So youāre saying that security systems in real banks are a āconvenienceā?
