My opposition is more to the attitude of “If I annoy them enough they’ll give in” which is what destroyed WoW the first time.

You can do that with almost anything that you oppose, you can try and paint it with a negative brush to try and make it look worse.

Actually, I’ve run guild bank alts, guild banks, and ran a Vanilla Raiding group for 9 months. I know the difficulties that we’ll face, but that’s the same difficulties we’ll face in a thousand places that we aren’t taking the easy way out of.

Besides, the guild master, or anyone with the 10,000 slot access to tabs can steal it all anyway. Guild banks can increase the number of people capable of nicking your stuff.

That answer is two fold.

1. Over the course of this on going discussion many people jumped in and screamed that this was about convenience and QoL. Completely ignoring what has been said since thread 1. This has been explained so many times. The conversation has been ran in circles with willful ignorance.

Not if the permissions are properly set on the bank. Can the GL have a meltdown? yes, but how often does that actually happen?
