Yes, we're sill salty about the Brutosaur

It was datamined right at the beginning of the BFA beta, people were farming and getting their gold ready during Legion. I bought it on day 1 BFA. So yes, several years.

I joined in 8.3 as a completely new player i had no idea how to get gold i had absolutely no chance of getting the mount as it went completely unoticed by me that such an important mount was being removed from the game.

My eyes first of all. Also, please don’t speak for me. Don’t say “we’re”. Only speak for yourself please. Thank you!

I don’t see how that would count. When the mount was datamined and up to a year into the xpac, nobody had any idea it was being removed.

Why would someone rush to buy something that had not been removed in the past? (we still have the other two utility mounts)

p.s. Also, saying you had several years to earn 5 million gold is not the same as saying you had several years to buy the mount. Whether or not you had the money at the start of BfA, the mount was only on the vendor a year.

I dont think the author meant to include everyone when he said “we’re” but a group of people who are in a similar situation as him.

this is my personal opinion.

but i think the Blackmarket system should get a update, it’s pretty hard to get a item on it to be honest, but if we are given more options it would be better.

not saying it should have lower prices just saying it should have more option on the number of items a player can buy from it.

it would be even better if the Black market had a reputation system, that way if you become exalted with Madam Goya’s gang you could unlock better products from the Black market that isn’t necessary bought through auction.

A very unique solution, but i like it anything to improve on the current situation is better.

They can say whatever they want within Blizzard’s rules for the forum.

Also, you do realize that “we” doesn’t mean everyone, right? Thought so

Hey if we’re just throwing “I want” crap out there…

I want a ship. That flies … but wait. I’m not done. There’s a repair merchant on board, And a representative from the AH, and a barber, And a Transmog specialist! And a stable master! And a banker!

That’s not asking too much is it?

(Imagine how THAT Crap would block off your entrances and NPC access)

Uh uh. WOWhead datamining it before they’re ready to announce it doesn’t change that they DID announce it. Well in advance. Longbois challenge was earn 5 million gold or already have it before we remove it. You should have done it.

In b4 “we would add it back but think of the people who bought it on bmah! :(”

It never should have been removed.

I did do it but that doesn’t change my opinion.

And i did the magetower but that doesn’t change my opinion vis a vi their exclusive rewards.

If blizzard surprised us one day and suddenly removed it, you MIGHT have an argument. They did not, and you do not.

theres already a ship mount that flies and there are already repair merchants on many mounts and ofc the Bruto has a AH Npc theres the Yak with the transmog npc im sure a banker and barber will soon be implimented as well.

That’s why I keep saying it should be gold-capped on a vendor (even the BFA TW vendor when that becomes a thing). It’s really the only “balanced compromise” that makes sense, if we’re trying to “please” the majority. People who did it during BFA only spent 5 million gold, while everyone else post-BFA has an actual, tangible shot to obtain it themselves.

Its nice to see we agree on something.

Again, I get why the MT rewards were removed. The MT was a challenge for the gear, artifacts, talents, consumables, legendaries, classes, etc. we had at the time. At the end of Legion our artifacts and legendaries were deactivated and a bunch of a talents and spells were changed, reworked, added or removed. We might get a new class in the future. Again, I get it.

However, gold is gold. You either earn it in game or you bought it with tokens. What was a challenge? How is making gold or buying tokens tied to BfA? It’s not. Imo that’s not a good enough reason to remove a mount.

Yeah I did. I just wish I would have done it twice.

The reason for having it day 1 was to make the gold back. You could mine and herb out in the field and sell it immediately with new xpac inflated prices.

Actually no, the economy fluctuates. Earning gold now is not the same as earning it then. Heck in warlords I gold capped 9 toons with no effort using the garrison ship yards.

Your own argument works against you.

And I said you do not have an argument not the mount…… are you trolling?

Warlords was… weird. You know that. It rained gold and Blizzard seen what they did and fixed it.

I don’t think there has been a huge difference in gold making from Legion until now.

I just edited my post to clarify.
