If you can’t dominate a silver game as a plat then you’re doing it wrong.
Game knowledge is what gets you advantages.
dont forget that even if you are a master player and happen to beat the mythic raid boss who randomly shows up in your normal raid, he will drop LFR level loot and then tell you to get good if you want mythic gear.

People have been leaving since WotLK… We’re in the middle of a content drought… most players have geared several toons at this point close to 250… it’s not PvP “carries” that are causing this. Hell I actually started pvping again this season the other night because I’ve got little left to do for pve.

You don’t get a damage boost in wow either.
If you pick Darius in Silver and you pick Darius in Platinum, you’re going to have a much better time in the Silver game because they don’t know how to play against the champion and Platinum players do.
It’s 110% a learn to play issue.
My Rival geared Rogue doesn’t get a damage boost over someone in 1400-1600 gear???

No, they don’t. They just do more damage because they have better gear.
But what you’re not understanding is that gear is not the end all be all.
Gear only carries you against bad players. Once you reach good players, your gear is not going to be able to carry you.
In the short term, the player with better gear might climb the ranks, but long term they’re going to stagnate because they don’t have the skill to gain any actual meaningful progress.
What’s so hard to understand
Yeah, Blizzard were pretty sneaky laying the groundwork for them to make money off boosting back in Vanilla.

Wrong, they worry about THEIR endgame, and they consider that there are no other forms of endgame or that the others are inferior and it is not worth investing resources and time in it, there is a subtle but important difference. And of course, they want to make money in the most crawling ways possible while playing the way they want.
I don’t think I’ve paid a cent for this game in around a year.
