Ybarra sale M+ runs?

One of the Co-Directors of Blizzard takes advantage of the weak points of the game and puts into practice one of the most questioned activities of the game?

Well, I think we can forget about Blizzard taking action against spam in chats and saturation of run sales in the LFG

Shame

in an mmorpg whare you would expect to be going on amazing advenchers and all the other goodness that entails and that is been made obsolete when a pay to win path this brings the standard way down low and it’s a mentality like this why wow is failing as a game and it’s becoming just a virtual world such as second life

Boosting for gold is not only not against the terms of service, but it also doesn’t affect the game in any capacity.

Boosting isn’t a problem.

I actually might buy a boost this weekend from DOS because of all these threads poppin up. Don’t have anything to spend gold on anyways.

so lets see, non-collectors edition of a wow expac costs ~$400 every 2 years. now add a $300 carry every season, usually we have 4, so thats $1200 for carries. don’t forget a token every other month or so, add another $2400 on top of that.

they want $4000 every 2 years for wow.

You could also just buy the base expansion, buy game time with gold via wow tokens, and also buy boosts (if you feel inclined to, absolutely not required at all) via gold by farming.

Boosting and tokens are fine.

the time required to farm that much gold is cost prohibitive unless you still live in your mom’s basement.

Are you people really that poor in WoW? Gold is so easy to make literally logged on and had 300k sitting in mailbox from AH.

Also I’ve never once paid for a WoW token.

actually yes, most people dont make gold in wow. your flex is good for you, but it does not represent everyone.

That’s a player problem, not a game problem.

Basic edition for SL was around $40.

I haven’t bought a single carry even once and I am doing just fine and with the rate we make gold, tokens are not even needed. Hell you can make a couple thousand a day just doing a calling and running the gold missions on the mission table.

Stop being so melodramatic…

its a game design problem, if you dont understand that perhaps find another conversation. but, if you do understand, then you understand that the game is intentionally being made frustrating to play unless you pay to win, activision does this with CoD as well using technology they have patented, so its not like this is a tinfoilhat conspiracy.

400 is from a $40 basic edition+2 years worth of sub costs.

No it’s definitely a tin-foil hat conspiracy. You literally never have to buy a WoW token to have large sums of gold. You’re just looking for someone/something to blame.

and yet all of the boosting going on prooves you are wrong, blizz’s revenue is up for wow dispite subs being down, that means more and more of the remaining players are whales opening their wallets, however it also means the model is very unsustainable.

not really, this is generally pointed to as a massive problem for wow by everyone who isn’t tone deaf.

Selling boost has zero affect on the game.

Even just doing callings every day nets you thousands of gold

The only ones who really do this are those from third world countries where the dollar is too expensive compared to the local currency.
