Yay paladins!

Well yeah, anyone claiming that paladin is not in a good spot right now is just outright being disingenuous. But claiming we’re ridiculously OP or broken atm I am not convinced. There are papers to our rock in PVP and we’re not exactly leading the charge in PVE either.

Each level cap is going to be a new meta. Pretending that this lvl 25 meta is translating to the end game lvl 60 meta is laughable.

Literally just bubble hearth LOL

yeah dude tons of counters

Oh it’s definitely not… but paladins have 70% of their kit right now compared to plenty of classes which have 20% of theirs.

That’s where most of the imbalance is.

Yeah cause a pally is gonna bubble hearth in bgs.

Pretty sure bubble doesn’t even last long enough for a full hearth channel anyway.

Just more clown takes from someone getting stomped by paladins.

Bro you play on a PvE server and run 4 ret paladins in your 10 man raid.

How often you see PVP? Once a month?

Stop talking about pvp from your normal server perspective Lol

Definitely not a broken class guys my 10 man raid just runs 4 of them.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Rank 2 lasts 12 seconds, but that won’t be learnable until level 50.

Yeah I thought as much. Never seen someone as butthurt about a class having a slow in my life as the person above you. Best to ignore them since they have no worthwhile topic to discuss.

You only see PVP 10v1 when you all flip your flags on one poor dude :rofl::rofl:

Do you even PvP in BGs?

The best is when you beat them once, they bubble, then beat them a 2nd time and they lay on hands

yes truly wonderful gameplay .

pallies are just fine though right?

Paladins were hardly the clear winner in SOD, other then now all three of their specs do seem to be viable, which is nice. As for the three specs.

Prot might qualify as the best tank at 25, however this will likely drop though as they won’t be able to sustain threat like a warrior, while we don’t know what will happen in p2/p3, fury prot is likely to be the top tank once again at least for single target raid tanking. Its simply hard to beat the mechanics of rage coupled with the crazy dps that fury has.

Ret is middle of the road DPS even with all the buffs and likely won’t improve much, it simply scales poorly compared to classes like rogues and warriors. However Ret having actual attacks (crusader/storm) fixes a lot of their issues, so they should be respectable enough that if they can maintain their current damage in p2/p3, they should have a good chance of getting a raid spot end game unlike in Era even if they aren’t top damage at least they are no longer a joke.

As for Holy it is probably the worst healer right now at 25, simply because they received few useable rune abilities compared to all the other healers, and don’t really have a group heal, which is huge in BFD, yet they are still viable. While beacon is nice, its a mana hog, and Divine Sacrifice while good, is weaker then the version priests got, again still nice though, neither of these fixes the mana issues and the lackluster heals paladins currently have though. This won’t really change until they hit 60 and get some raid gear, where they start to excel, and then be more comparable with the other healers. Paladins simply need +Healing and lots of Spell Crit to do well, currently they have neither.

It is literally because we are 25. The tools we have been given will see them dominate henceforth. Particularly at 60 and in PvP

I main pally in era. We are completely set

I cant explain why, but paladins tears have an special tasty and flavor. I really enjoy them on retail forum.

That remains to be seen, a lot will depend on how important group healing is. While I do expect them to become a lot stronger as the mana issues go away with raid gear, with as boosted as the other healers are, they certainly won’t be the top.

I don’t expect Holy will have it bad as it was in TBC where you only brought along the token holy paladin for the buffs since in classic they were plenty viable, but the reality is paladins were never the best healers (until WOTLK) they simply had crazy healing efficiency so they could spam flash of light endlessly, they were very good healers in Classic though.

For the most part raids in Classic brought paladins along for their buffs, healing was secondary, this was really due to Holy being the only viable spec, now however both Ret and Prot will likely be viable to fill these buffing slots, it will open up healing spots to priests/druids and on the horde side shaman. I do expect paladins will once again show their worth being the top tank healers, simply do to single target efficiency.

I must’ve really struck a chord with you, never seen someone so pathetic and in denial lol

My FFXIV character literally has the same name. Sorry about your extreme insecurity, your lack of skill, and your smooth brain. Best wishes to you getting all of those fixed.

I havent tried that build out myself, only seen others try and fail, but they were also all ap geared, so they probably werent holy reck, but ret reck

I guess ill give it a shot come the later phases

Again though, my main concern with our current runes is that they just really dont synergise with our existing kit, theyre purely additive, which will never keep up with multiplicative synergies
