I mean if your guild is that bad… Blizzard will nerf this raid eventually, you know.
XT25 HM is the only fight they need to nerf, and they will.

If it ever comes to that maybe. Lots of RPGs have an optional side boss that you can fight for bonus loot but will wreck you if your unprepared. Worth it at the time if you can do it but completely optional and you can usually come back later and fight it at a more comfortable level.
It’s week 2. We have many, many more months of loot to try to defeat it.
I think its cool that there is still a boss that hasn’t died and will take a decent amount of effort for even the best guilds to clear.
Its pretty unfortunate that that boss is a required boss to kill to progress and is so early in the raid. It’ll probably get nerfed because no normal guild will likely do much progression on it for months due to its placement in the raid.

its just a bad design. literally no one even has progression on xt, since xt has no real mechanics. you either can deal the dmg, and you cant. so far nobody could. that includes guilds with stacks of the best possible dps with splitraid geared players that are on angear progression most people will achieve with 10 IDs of ulduar. they still can not kill it yet. This means that a group of the most skilled players in existence can not kill xt 25 hm, while playing flawless, unless they create a raidsetup with split gearer people.

Please stop replying. Your lack of game knowledge, experience, and research shows. The fact that XT hardmode can be done on 10 man (which I’ve done) and 25 man can’t is dumb. If everyone is playing perfectly it still can’t be killed on 25man.
Hard modes are proverbial “end bosses”. BiS gear isn’t meant to be a participation reward that everyone gets for stepping foot into a raid. It’s simply the best possible gear, no matter where it comes from or what you have to do to get it.
You should re-frame your thinking if you earnestly believe that collecting the best possible gear shouldn’t be a difficult ordeal. The whole point of hard modes is that they’re hard.
And the whole point of 25man XT hardmode is that its not hard, its just stupidly tunes HP wise. People dont kill Xt 25man HM because they fail at the mechanics, of which there are only a few.
and killing a hard mode boss shouldn’t require BIS gear. That is exactly what XT requires on 25man. Bis gear and class stacking. No normal raid comp is going to kill this boss. They’ll nerf it soon, no doubt. More and more people will start to complain once they’ve killed Algalon, the last boss of the raid, that requires all of the keepers to be defeated on their hardmode. Yet here is this ****boss that has 2 mechanics and has more health than 2 bosses combined. Sure, cool. The devs need to get off their high horse. Nothing is “cool” about having a boss that’s not able to be killed.
You can skip XT HM, stop crying and get more gear.

No guild is going to have an average of 8.2k dps on every raider for single target even in bis gear over 6 minutes.
Yeah i’ve noticed. Idc i just ignore them, they’re probably players that don’t even play classic or raid.
Also perfectly valid. But I’d say a couple months at least before a nerf.

Ah it looks like you were replying to me, my comment was about flow of raid not because you came out the gate crying about “my bis” from 2nd HM, if its tuned wrong then i guess cry more until its nerfed?
XT HM is not an “end boss” in Ulduar. Just stop it. Yogg and Algalon are the end bosses.
Nobody is saying hard modes shouldn’t be hard. This boss is a clear outlier (solely because his HP is too high, he is not difficult mechanically at all) that is literally impossible for guilds that have already killed what are supposed to be the most difficult bosses in the raid.
Are you saying some of the hardest content of this patch needs a nerf on week #3 of the patch because you can’t clear it yet?
Nobody can clear it and it’s not supposed to be harder than Yogg0. So yeah, it should be nerfed.
Annnnnd it’s getting nerfed.
