XP From Dungeons

Heritage Armor is now starting to feel more like a diversion from the true intention of the system. A form of pre-implemented defense tactic to wanting to increase sales of those services. Not everyone cares about heritage armor after all.

thing is if it was boost sale they would have quickly allowed the heritage armors from the start and still leaving the leveling option for those that wanted..

but it's still not the case.. there's something way worse going on, how do you explain so many nerfs to leveling but most of the new people target is to get the heritage armor yet boosting doesnt give it?

there's no logic in what blizzard is doing to leveling.. not a reasonable one at least

As I said, heritage armor is a diversion. Think of it this way. Imagine we live in a world where Blizzard didn't introduce heritage armor then implemented these xp changes to go along with the new races. It would be more obvious that it would be a grab for boosts/race changes as anyone on the fence about leveling one up would feel those options look more appealing. The boards would implode and the subject would be more focused on Blizzard's greed. Heritage armor diverts that conversation and gives what seems to be a logical reason as to why that's not the case.

Lol yea I’m soo not buying BFA I’m done with WoW, I haven’t even been able to make myself get on these past few weeks I try but I open battle net and just remember all the bs blizzard is doing and shut it off.

See you in BfA!
Trust me u won’t, I’ll be shipped out soon anyways idiot nice try though. Man I love when people respond like that, makes them look majorly retarded poor white knights loool.
Honestly it is impossible to make these people happy anymore. Seems they want more and more and more til they are able to level 0-110 in 1 day. Completely ruins the leveling mmo aspect.

Even with free 110 boosts....

And to think when I first started playing wow it took months to get to 60.

A lot has indeed changed.
AH api been down forever... XP letting people have fun?

Hotfix that $hit!
well, cool. Spent 2 weeks grinding rep for void, which is fine and all, and now i have to spend probably a month with how much time i have spare to just play my new void alt? This seriously kills my mood, not everyone cares for quests. i just wanna jam with my friends on a new class at max, not spend hours upon hours with limited play time to level by myself being bored out of my brains. Cmon its not like this hurt anyone, was only experienced players doing this cause we've all done the content 10x over and not keen to do 10+ year old quests.
this is kinda vague
I ran a couple dungeons on my alts using the "towing" method and to put a number to this reduction in dungeon xp lets say the amount of xp you got before the "hot fix" was on a 100% scale.....you are getting about 15%-20% now. So xp gains were reduce by 80%-85% in dungeons when running/towing lower levels and this is just ok? Ridiculous!!!

If you guys can 'fix' this so fast why is WoD still overtuned?

Good thing you removed what said the first time. Would have been a ban for sure.
Leveling currently is like getting hit in the face with a brick while intoxicated. Because of your intoxicated state you're pretty sure you will enjoy getting hit in the face with a brick. But no matter how intoxicated you are that brick gets painful pretty quick.

it was only a "slight" nerf (ha!). You are gaining so much more by queuing now thanks to the (almost unnoticeable) "substantial" buff *snicker* to queued instances.
This kind of post only serves to piss people off.
Everyone knows how !@#$ed up the leveling system currently is, but since you have nothing to add to the game you will just leave it as it is so that people still play the game (because in your twisted minds they will play longer because it takes longer to get to max level) during the content gap, and fixing leveling experience right now would mean a decrease in boost sales.

it is a shame what Blizzard is doing, its almost as if the company was a property of activision.... oh

Your benefit? Stealth-nerfed. Blue post with PR spin.

Your detriment? Years of silence.

Considering how you can find posts from just a year or two ago with players discussing how ineffective power-leveling dungeons was with a high-level character, it's almost like everyone has collective amnesia. Yep, months indeed. Things have changed.
sometimes you just wonder if Blizzard PR sits on a chair reading the comments and going like "haha, idiots!"

I started in vanilla to and I was fine with how leveling evolved up till 7.3.5.

Not exactly free since we still pay $10 more per expansion since it was first introduced.

I have almost 20 characters at 110, I've been through this levelling process enough times, I've seen everything. I don't need to see this stuff again. I had friends run my allied race alts through stuff so I could speed up the process and then last night I spent about 50 dollars upgrading a second account to Legion so that I could use my free BfA boost on another character and run my void elf through a bunch of dungeons. This morning I wake up and they've hotfixed it. I just wasted a chunk of my paycheck on this.

Why do they want us to spend literal days of in-game time to see content we've already seen, just to get some armor? I'm literally deleting the allied race characters that I get to 110 since I already have so many max level characters. It's absolutely ridiculous to see that they're slowing it down even more and punishing us for just trying to get around this new system. I didn't complain about the new levelling system, I didn't say anything negative about it till now.

Blizzard, seriously. What purpose does this serve? It's not an exploit, it's honestly a coping mechanism.
I really don't understand why Blizz would nerf powerleveling like this. This has been a part of the game since people started "soloing" older content. Guess blizz is gonna turn into one of those insanely stupid games where alts are only seen on accounts that have been around for a while because doing 120 levels at the new slow rate WILL deter players from leveling more than 1-2 alts if that many. But hey, guess a company making close to $100mil a month really needs that extra $60...
