XP From Dungeons

Kinda funny i used to use the boost for professions, as i didnt mind the journey leveling up characters, now that the have removed the professions bonus, it kinda removed any incentive to use, and making a new character with zero rep in a game all about rep and ap and ilvl grinding seems like a stupid idea.

60$ can buy banner saga on playstation think 1-3 bundle is available.

Would be money better spent then on a single character boost who may only have one viable spec till the next round of nerfs...

Idk d3 has season 15, think i may go play that for a bit, maybe watch some netflix, norsemen season2 drops the 26th, man for what 11$ a month you really get the value out of time spent in netflix, even when i dont watch netflix i dont blink an eye at the cost, i wish i could feel that way about wow.
I need to finish ironfist season2 and ozarks, soon daredevil season3... etc...

... Back on topic, i used to love running old dungeons, kinda wish they did timewalking with vanilla dungeons, were you could run the old sunken temple, or old giant dungeons, make them into somethong you have to form a group for, as you know it will take some time.
Please fix.
Trash mobs take too long to kill
Boss mobs take too long to kill
XP reward and loot is not worth the time it takes

Do you really intend to make dungeons useless and unfun? Because at this point, they bloody are.

I keep grinding rep and I don't know why. I've unlocked Dark Irons. If I gave enough of a crap to go grind WQs on my Horde DH I might be able to get to Revered with the Honorbound today (I do not give the aforementioned crap so it'll be tomorrow at the earliest). I'll have Mag'har in like... I dunno, 2-3 weeks depending on if I can be bothered to play.

...And then what? Level them through this slow-moving road where you can't even dungeon chain anymore? Player choice has been completely removed. You zone quest to level or you pay for a boost. Those are your only options now.

I've still only gotten 2 Allied Races to heritage armor level. I just can't bring myself to level alts anymore. It takes too long. I know it's to distract you from the fact that there's literally no content at 120 aside from grinding rep, especially if you hate dungeons/raids like I do, but god damn, at least try to hide that fact. Don't put signs up with neon, flashing lights.

I doubt I'll ever seriously level an alt again unless they get their heads out of their butts and fix the mess they've made. But that would require them to admit they made a mess in the first place, which Ion adamantly refuses to do. He's right, we're all wrong, and that's all there is to it. So he'll happily sit and fester in his pool of rot while we either walk away or slog through content that's been outdated for years and years. Multiple times.

I dunno about you folks, but I have a life outside of WoW. I don't have time to devote 80 hours per alt. Blizzard used to understand this at one point, and leveling wasn't a horribly slow mess where you never get any stronger and you need way too much XP per level.

Funny how Blizzard nerfed leveling and then released new characters in the BFA Xac that we have to level through this slough; Trying to be sneaky Blizzard? We know what you are up to!
Strange thing I noticed; Installed the new PTR version 8.1.0 27826 and when I click on the patch notes beside it takes me back to one of the prior patches, 7.3.0.

When I click on the live patch notes it takes me back to 8.0.1.

Wishful thinking I know but is it possible they're planning to revert back to the prior build in 8.1.0? Just an assumption/theory on my part not intended to mean I think that they are but it would be nice if they do.

I'd like a rollback to 7.35, make scaling optional ... and I mean TOTALLY optional; and let us play the way we want.

That would give me an incentive to possibly stay subbed.
Its not the cake is a lie. But the bug is lol. Just a example, but there are more out there on the interwebz lol. From 2007. Pretty sure blizz would hate youtube if it were not for the streamers getting them free ad time haha. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4tGK-kfTRc

Personally, I'd rather outlevel a zone and feel like my character is getting stronger than have it scale as it does. The RPG aspect is completely gone. They should just scale everything so I can raid mythic+++ with my 112 and get gear scaled to my level. Progression is progression or it's scaled to where you're at. /opinon

This, I never feel any stronger, the game is always the same. And you bring up a good point, why should I have to level if this current scaling is going to stay? Instead of leveling to 120 I could have stayed 110 and did the BFA WQs and they could have adjusted the rep rewards so it would take the same amount of time (based on effort of course) that it did to get rep from doing quests.

What does questing get me outside of experience? Story, gear, gold, rep, flight paths, achievements, and maybe some other stuff I'm missing. I already said what to do about rep, achievements/story/gold can be acquired as desired by the player, I still don't have pathfinder pt.1 (Tortollan). The gear would scale so that just leaves flight paths.
Back to the front page you go !
Its pretty sad they are ignoring their playerbase heirlooms were great the way they were as was the leveling system and exp the scaling is ok but the nerf's to heirlooms and exp were never needed the game is getting run into the ground by terrible decisions they have to be losing subs at this point and they are still ignoring us. Hey guys you want more subs give us what we have been asking for since patch 7.3.5 not a !@#$ing boat mount. If we did not truely love what the game was we would not be here for this long trying to get you to fix it but everyone will eventually give up and move on not accept the people in charge are a bunch of dickbags and suck it up.
Dungeons were my favorite method of leveling before, fast, fun, player interaction, got money from it.

All of that is gone now, except for the player interaction, but when EVERYTHING else from it is gone, why bother? I could camp myself in orgrimmar and talk in trade chat and I'd be getting about the same exp as I do from the actual dungeon.

You have that right.

These games rely on players staying interested enough to play. To do that, a player's time must be rewarded. All the incentives to do dungeons have been removed; they aren't fun, you get crap XP and the drops are terrible, if you get any. On top of all that, it takes way too long to complete a dungeon. The time investment is not adequately compensated.

The claim that dungeon leveling was a bug for 14 years is so ridiculous it lacks all credibility.
Two days in a row I was on a lower level character doing the Brewfest dungeon and was grouped with 110-120s. Someone broke the 3 brew barrels at the start of the fight and level 120 mobs came from the other room and 1 shotted us lower level players. Not our fault blizz groups 120s and 110s, with 30s and 40s.

Not just dungeons, the game has become an online slot machine.
Yeah the level scaling is annoying. I am leveling Lightforged Paladin, and just dinged 34. I used to like to go back and solo trounce through the lower dungeons as I got higher. I can’t do this anymore because the mobs scale with our level. So all through the old content, I am forced to queue because soloing is no longer viable.

Yeah. Speed/power leveling in dungeons was a feature for 14 years. Now it's a bug.
I just hit 70 on my nightbourne and am burning out. Taking so long to level. I used to level up to the previous cap in like 4 days but it's such a slog fest now. If it wasn't for the heritage armor, I would have farmed herbs in a day to pay for the level 110 upgrade.

Same I loved joshing around with randoms who had a sense of humor or helping new players out with some by giving them advice sadly player interactions outside of dungeons seem all but there.

I remember the good old days when we would have Leveling Guilds attached to Raiding Guilds, The Leveling Guilds were a way to get players leveled then get to know their spell rotation etc and then get their gear so they could start raiding sometimes we would have 2 or 3 groups raiding at the same time, That was FUN!

But now Blizzard has taken the FUN away just to try to squeeze every penny they can out of us; I hope they plan to revert these changes because I've already closed one account and can only play level 20 and below on it. This one still has 5 & 1/2 month left and when it's up I'm gone if changes aren't made.
