This may come as a surprise. But individuals have free agency to ask for things the would like, they are consumers who pay for a product. Those things do not have to be given, nor do the have to be adhered to.

They are free to make decisions based on whatever metric they choose. If they wish to quit over an otherwise arbitrary thing, it is within their right to do so.

You as a consumer have no place to dictate to other consumers what they should or should not want.

I bet you will never be in charge of a major company. Blizzard is bleeding subs and looking a year before the next expansion. This little buff brought back players and it cost Blizzard hardly anything to implement.

LOL, says who? Clearly not the paying customers.

Do you have any proof of ANYone saying they’re going to quit if the XP buff doesn’t continue…? or are you just making that up to convey your opinion…?

Reminds me a lot of the alliance…

What are you talking about? Care to post your sources? HAHA

Another fine example of why you will never be in charge of a major corporation.

Clark is the guy to make post complaining about people complaining.

LOL, right? Literally never seen a single forum post about demanding compensation due to the pandemic.

On the flip side, I saw tons of companies taking advantage of the fact that people are stuck inside as a way to try and get people to use their services… (free XXXhub, etc) so it would only make sense WoW did something to try and draw people in while they’re stuck inside…

Clark’s a high elf for the alliance fan though, so It’s easy to assume he’s just making things up to support his opinion…

I am a forum junkie and have never seen anyone demand compensation due to the virus.
BTW the buff is extended to the release of Shadow lands

Hey Clark, hear the good news champ? :joy:

I was going to save my alts to avoid the extra 60 levels of grind but seeing as this now goes to pre-patch (when it probably changes anyway), I may as well do the odd one or two.

This is fantastic.

They did it on their own accord. We made suggestions, but not demands, after the buff came out. Popular ones included, lowered brutosaur cost, korraks revenge, and increased drop rates for rare items.

kindly stop trying to tell other players what they need or don’t need;

Tell that to Amazon.

I pay for 2 day shipping :triumph:

I only came back because of the boost.

So…yeaaaah.

I’d be quitting had it not stuck.

but muh choosing beggar!!1!

they are consumers who pay for a product.

Yeah.

I can just imagine these people running a company and saying “I should be grateful they offered me this price/deal!”

It’s called “negotiating”.

It’s called “haggling”.

In many places in the world, it is weird to NOT haggle, and negotiate.

Even in America, at a flea market, for example, haggling/negotiating is common practice.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease in the WoW community.
