Cross realm is in, more favoratism for the fotm Horde. Big surprise.
So people who don’t like the fact that queues never pop on their server due to extreme faction imbalance should just quit the game.
Queues will continue to not pop on many realms, but as long as they pop on your realm, the game is fine without all those unnecessary and inconvenient other players.

Queues means someone is sitting waiting to get into the game and not playing the game. So how would you feel if you were in a queue and unable to play solely because of your faction?
Yeah there were huge threads about it. Bad for the game overall but not likely to change
Just because you’ve got a double digit IQ doesn’t mean his point didn’t make sense.
The “regular” horde have every advantage being given to them - CRBGs and Mercenary Mode
Their wait is 30 minutes.
If they would mercenary - their wait is 0.
Without Mercenary in the game - the horde is going to get annihilated in queue time.
Again… you would be queued to a layer. It’s not that big a deal. It’s how BG queues work. Except for the ill-advised time Blizzard separated twinks from the rest of the BG playing world, I’ve never been in a BG queue for longer than 10 minutes.
Idk, how would you feel if you were unable to do any world content because of your factions massive underrepresentation due to things that are entirely outside of your control?
Again, answer my question. How would you feel if you were stuck sitting in a queue solely because of the faction you chose to play?
I would feel that I could make a ham sandwich, come back and be in the game wooo! Just like when I’m waiting in a BG queue… solely because of the faction I play. You are aware that BG queues are faction-based, yes? The game can’t start till even numbers of players from both factions queue up.
With a world faction queue, the queue can be made to whatever proportions you like: 50/50 (impossible on a wildly imbalanced server); 60/40; 70/30 – layer queues could be set to these and it would be as if you were waiting to get into a BG.
I support this (which is another player’s idea) because it offers a possible solution to the grossly imbalanced pops people are complaining about.
Alternatively, players could wait it out for a couple of weeks. Over time server pops do tend to mellow out. However, because people are begging for a solution NOW, this could be one way to do it.
I have also mentioned that it is possible that Blizzard may offer further faction-restricted transfers in the future.
So first thing, layers are gone. Second thing, if you’re waiting for a battleground you can still do other stuff in game. If you are waiting in a queue to even get onto your server you aren’t doing anything. How happy would that make you if you couldn’t play your character because you can’t even get onto your server?
I’m merely suggesting that such queues may alleviate or at least help to alleviate the imbalance. This solution may have inconveniences of its own.

Battlegroups weren’t around during the rank 14 grind…You competed against your server only.
It doesn’t really matter how many cases, if there’s a single piece of BIS gear available in BGs, then PVE players are going to do BGs. In a lot of cases preraid BIS comes from BGs too and it’s a lot faster than trying to run a dungeon 14 times because BG rewards are guaranteed.
Which do you prefer? 1-4 minute queues with mostly PUG groups to contend with.
15-20 minute queues simply to run into a 15 Grand Marshal / Warlord Premade where you get butchered in 2 minutes flat and have to wait the queue again for a chance at a decent game?
Because I know what non linked BGs look like.
Seriously? It’s just PvP. I’ve been playing WoW on and off for 13 years. PvP has always been part of the game. Sure, things have changed… But my favorite times go back to talent trees and strange itemizations on gear. I’m looking forward to this!
The old honor system existed for awhile with CRBG’s.
They all gonna have BiS gear, all gonna be engineers, have tidal charms and other OP trinkets that they are constantly swapping out. Just you wait
