I confess I’m not sure if trolls get scars or if the regeneration factor nulls that.
I prefer to borrow from the old tropes about Trolls and say that certain types of damage, like fire, will leave scars, while normal attacks might not.
I feel so much better about myself now because SAME. It was my first MMO and I was just having too much fun exploring the world…and also obsessively working on professions for some reason. I am pretty sure I maxxed each profession on my ONE CHARACTER in all those years.
I realize I am WAY behind in reading this thread so you’ll probably never see this…but please, if you do get a chance to talk to your doctor about it, there is a PTSD medication that is specifically for dreams that cause feelings like this and/or nightmares. I took it for a while and it actually really helps. You basically just…don’t dream. You remember maybe colors or something like fast-forwarding a movie, and you wake up not feeling/remembering any of it.
Even if you don’t have PTSD, it wouldn’t hurt to talk to your doctor about this medication and whether or not it may help you. It’s not a very well-known medication so I just wanted to throw this out there.

I am seriously considering putting my WoW subscription towards buying a private server on ARK and inviting the Vikings and a bunch of Wyrmies to it, since I am heartily sick of the land-grab shenanigans of the PvE servers and being the owner of a server would allow me to fiddle with the settings and hopefully set some ground rules for the players.
Tossing up if we should go full PvP with Offline Protection and have folks suffer the consequences of their own actions, or PvE and if folks wanna have it out, they have to Declare War on each other’s Tribes to make sure that nobody is getting F’d in the B by ‘Pro Gamers’.
The company I’ve been talking to has said I can rent a private server with a password and if somebody’s being a problem, as the server owner I could ban them and/or their IP address, but for 25 a month I’d want to make sure the server is popping before I sank that much dosh.
I saw Sairelle in game moments ago and instantly /farted on her 
I saw Altielle in-game like an hour ago while on an alt and /love 'd at her and was shunned
I WAS JUST BUYING A TOKEN AND COMPLETELY MISSED THIS, YOU FIEND

So scatterbrained that I didn’t realize I hadn’t identified it. It’s an “icecream in bed” kind of night! Just the Gleaming Val’kyr Cuirass from Trial of Valor LFR. Haven’t had any luck getting it.
