I think a lot of the staying power of Warmane is the fact that for some eastern europeans their Shadowmourne cost a monthâs salary, so they keep ganking noobs in Tanaris for years on end to get their âmoneys worthâ

the eternal realm has always had a higher population.
The seasonal reset realm has lower population historically
believe it or not , people enjoy coming with the boys and killing everything under 2hrs bissed out 4 times a week with their 10 year old characters.

Just because we exist in the minority doesnât mean we should stop fighting or that permanent wrath classic server options shouldnât exist.
And yah. Thatâs all the forums in general everywhere are for now. For crying salty tears. I rarely ever have that happen. I just miss the days when companies didnât have so many tools to take advantage of their consumers. And I just wish blizz would add permanent wrath classic servers back.

Unironically speaking, private realms for wrath have historically sustained the highest live population over the last 14 years.
And as far as highest subscriptions in history wrath held the most during icc rs
And as far as highest classic sustained population over time , wrath in eu and us , and also in asia is performing better than any classic realm in history.
Itâs a smart business decision whether a lot of you disagree and have no interest in wrath, the demand is clearly there.

Just stay in northrend. All the wrath stuff is still available in cata. You donât need a separate server for it

Itâs not wrong to want it. But for blizzard to do it they have to think it will make a profit. Obviously blizzard doesnât think wrath era will be profitable.

BUt they are F2P. there are no 100% you must pay $15 a month to be here servers. This is needed to see how many would wrath it forever at $15 a month.
warmane makes money off other things to pay the bills. Many things not âog classicâ ways. Like items.
Same for ascension. Iâve been +1 player there in the past off and on. Iâve never paid a dime. Some other dude is buying items, xp increasing items, etc to keep the bills paid.

That is the gamble blizzard takes. How many would pay to play on wrath forever. Theyâd not offer this F2P.
They see our numbers. They can seeâŚX% of this game plays cata and Retail. Y%âŚplays cata only. Z% plays era/sod only.
We donât see the good numbers really. WCL has 5000 log submissions! Okay, how many are individual subs. Blizzard knows that. we donât.
it could be 1000 paid accounts running crap tons of alts to make up the WCL hits. In theory out of 5000 WCL reports, only 1000 are paying a sub.
Since Iâve known more than a few players who have the ml guild main, and 1 or 2 (gdkp) alts lol.

Thatâs the thing. Blizzard doesnât look at how many would play wrath era. They look at how many would play only wrath era. If someone is playing wrath era and sod or retail ect. Blizzard asks themselves: how many would unsub if there is no wrath era and how many would still sub and continue to play sod or retail ect. They have good numbers, we donât, and with those good numbers they just donât see a profit.

Itâs clear out of all the expansion released for classic so far, wrath has held the highest population longer out of any of them

I truly hope they do it sometime. We just need to keep crying about it. It isnât spam. More just protesting at this point. They go on and all about being inclusive and all this bullcorn. Well, shutting out permanent wrath classic players and not providing a permanent wrath classic server experience doesnât seem all that inclusive to me in my op.

How ever big wrathâs pop was that doesnât give us any information about how many will play it for years or forever as some people claim. That same line was used when people asked for vanilla era. I even believed it. Then I was proved wrong when era servers were dead. I learned from my error. So should you.
There should be no eternal realm. The one absolute and unchanging rule that every gaming company knows is that people will play a game, maybe even a few times through on different characters, then move onto another game or expansion. Thatâs why every gaming company makes an expansion for all itâs popular games. Because the vast majority get bored no matter how good the game is and move on.

I know quite well how fun ICC is 300 runs later. its not. and that is solo 1 shot in retail. that is not 300 runs where more than half of them you goâŚis the tank/healz/dps drunk, stoned, bad or all 3 at once.
RNG does not give pity points. It has no mercy. 2% chance drops are trulyâŚ2% chance drop on every single one of 300 events lol. And you failed them all.

We are literally telling you there are 14 year old private realms out there that have sustained more activity in their raids vs our biggest population realms.
People will play eternal , especially if theres 1 giga realm . ICC can and will hold enough players because historically , thatâs what ICC does. Itâs a very good casual raiding game.
Top guilds in mane do icc 5 times a week, most people have like 10-20 chars, and in average most characters are 8+ years , wrath is literally the best expansion for this purpose. Itâs a different niche for players only interested in wrath expansion.

That are free to play. What people will do if something is free tells us nothing about what they will pay a monthly subscription for. The subscription model has been tried over and over again with sites that get much more traffic than wow and the result is almost always failure. Most recently Musk tried it with twitter/X and once again the subscription model failed.
