#Wrathclassic

They are free to play because they have a cash shop for everything, so you can opt to play in and not spend, but tons of players still spend money.

Cash shop is industry standard for free to play, and with a 14 year old realm, getting bis gear with cash shop is probably less than 1 or 2 ticket run gdkps

I’m sure blizzard would love a cash shop for a game they don’t have to invest any money on fixing or changing anymore, just keeping 1 eternal realm and one seasonal wrath realm that transfers end of phase chars to eternal realm then starts another fresh round for those fresh enjoyers, if not they are literally giving up money they could be making that someone else is making off them.

I guess they would, but blizzard has never had a cash shop for bis items. As far as they’ve gone with tokens that’s a red line they’ve never crossed. It would be the most controversial thing they’ve ever done with wow. You say it like it would be welcomed by the players but the reality is the uproar from the players if they did it would be a seismic event. Even if it was profitable I doubt they want to deal with the enormous backlash that would follow such an announcement.

Try making a topic: Should blizzard make a wrath era server paid for with a cash shop for bis items, and see how people here respond to that idea.

I honestly found all that stuff fun as heck. Then blizz took it all way. Removed the old overworld. Ammo. Old class quests. And the game wasn’t an mmorpg anymore and had zero fun rpg aesthetics to it anymore.

Funny enough most of the complaints will go away if they do this. Just the petty complaints will be left. I mean, nothing to really complain about retail. Or cata classic. They have these options and people are fine. Although I do hope they add the old classic 1-60 overworld to retail some day. But lack of a permanent wrath classic server option is so stupid to me.

If they add wrath era? Most of those complaints have already gone away. It’s just a few fringe characters posting on multiple alts now. Compare it to the threads asking for rdf, or the uproar during phase 2 in vanilla classic from pvp servers, or back when they eliminated flying. What’s left of the wrath era posts are nothing compared to those and many other issues. If it weren’t for the necroed threads it’d be over already.

Ok and what is your point feywaif? I reserve the right to cry until I get my voice, among others, heard, listened to. And something getting done about it. And eventually getting permanent wrath classic era servers made.

Might be a small community. And it might only be me complaining about it. It isn’t. But I will get permanent wrath classic servers from blizz eventually. And constantly going at me like this, is only going to make me cry harder and protest harder.

Like you are enjoying the game correct? So why complain and waste your time talking to me. You could be enjoying this game you love so dearly. As for me. I am going to complain about not getting the product I paid 15 bucks a month for the past 5 years to see and play forever.

Like you act like I can’t post here. I can. And I can post wherever I want to. Whenever I want to. Trust me feywaif. This is far from over. Often times in history, it’s always the one guy no one listens to. Just because it’s the one guy speaking with an opinion that differs from everyone else’s. Well, I think your opinion about blizz not making permanent wrath classic servers. I think that opinion is wrong.

It’s clear from the response from the players and blizzard that you won’t. You can rage against the dying of the light but even Dylan Thomas admitted in the end it was futile.

Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night
By Dylan Thomas

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Yah but it doesn’t mean we should just stop raging lol. Never give up, never surrender is my motto.

A motto from a good comedy movie. And you’re a joke too. You just don’t realize it yet. /shrug

Very mature; for someone who claims to be older than most.

Now I know why that warrior calls you “kid,” and you deserve it…

Even if not physically; mentally, you qualify.

She lost the argument in my mind as soon as she started trying to insult me lol. Calling me a joke. And I am a massive joke. But it didn’t hurt me at all the same.

But, Im not telling the pro cata players how stupid they are and all that nonsense. People just think I am crazy to continue complaining about this. Just because I am the one person. Doesn’t mean I am wrong.

Often times. Way to often in the real world. With matters more important than wow. It takes us like decades to realize that the one person telling everyone that they were wrong, was actually right the whole time. And I find that very disheartening.

While this is a minor issue, and yah, life will go on without wrath classic, regardless of whether it happens or not. I still feel like it is the wrong thing to do to completely take away the ability to play wrath classic anymore on official permanent wrath classic servers.

Kind of crazy. All the promises blizzard made and broke every single one of them. No dungeon finder. Hah. No level boosts. Hah. Like it isn’t always about doing the most profitable thing. It’s also about doing the right thing. And that in my mind is something that is lost in america. Because it goes beyond just this world of warcraft client we are playing. It’s a sad reality in the real world to.

You’re a buffoon. There is no moral quandary here. It’s simply a company making a decision about how to allocate resources to maximize profits. It’s not like they are ignoring environmental rules and fouling the environment to increase profits or taking advantage of impoverished desperate people without options or choice. You want something and you claim the right to it whether the company profits or not. Your view is morally bereft narcissism.

As a diabetic I try to avoid even small amounts of sugar. For years I could only find one type of pasta sauce that had no added sugar. Then the product was discontinued. The most likely explanation is it wasn’t a big enough seller for the company to make a sufficient profit. Here also there is no moral quandary. I had no “right” to that particular brand and type of pasta sauce. The company was under no moral obligation to continue to supply it to me. I was disappointed but the company’s decision was morally null.

And so is blizzard’s decision to not include a wrath era morally null i.e. nothing about their decision raises any moral questions.

It isn’t really narcissism. You just seem to be throwing insults around. That’s all I have seen you do feywaif.

Ok, and I am sorry. If company refused to sell me something I knew I needed to supply so I could live on my daily life. Kind of insane if you ask me, and I would be writing a letter. I swear companies nowadays would suck up our air and bottle it and sell it to us if they could to make a quick buck. It’s freakin greed. Yah let’s just let the people who have pre diabetics not enjoy our product anymore because of profit margins. It’s just funny to me. I doubt they were losing a significant enough of a profit margin by selling the sugarless pasta. Anything to save litteral pennies to these greedy companies.

Now, then again. I just have a different view on that. If I was the owner of that stupid pasta company. That sugarless pasta, would still be getting sold. I care about all my customers. Not just the ones who are the larger majority. I never really will ever see that as a smart business sense. Specially if I am making triples in profits every single bloody year as the CEO. Surely I can part with some of those profits. Literal pennies to me I would be losing every years just to keep everyone satisfied.

Then again, I am just anti corporation these days. Wal mart could prevent employees from needing supplemental government income. They just choose not to. I find it very sad. Wal mart is one of the richest families in the US to.

I still think blizz is wrong for not providing permanent wrath classic servers. And that is my opinion on the matter. Period. I wasted 14 years just to be pulled down the same road that got me craving classic wow servers in the first place.

I also have the right to complain about it. And so did you with the pasta. I would have wrote a letter 100 percent. They want to make it so pre diabetic customers aren’t able to use their products anymore. That’s insane. Money shouldn’t be the focal point of every single company in america to the extreme degree that it is in my op. It is important. But the line is drawn to thin.

Next thing you know, companies are chopping arms and legs off of workers. It makes billions yo. So it’s ok. Who cares. Funny enough I would probably be the only person in the entire world complaining about that and questioning that. Companies gotta make money croot. It’s ok. You are just being a narcissist bro. Like these companies can do this. It’s making money.

We are basically telling companies they can pretty much do ANYTHING they want to nowadays. And that is insanity.

Cash shop and season passes is just how games are made nowadays. I am not really a fan but it is what it is.

But, blizz taking away permanent wrath classic servers is killing me inside.

PLEASE AND THANK YOU!! <3 #WRATHCLASSIC

That said, I think if we had a Classic Era, TBC, and Wrath mega server with NO and I mean NO changes, that would be amazing.

If we get a Wrath Classic Era server, no free dks, no free mounts, no free supply crates with pets/potions/flasks/mounts and other nonsense, no easy grind shadownmourne, actual real Wrath the way it was - from pre-patch through the end.

Only someone completely ignorant of current events could make that claim. Just in the news 2 days ago Ellison, ceo of FTX, was sentenced to 2 years in prison. Her boss Bankman-Fried is currently serving a 25 year sentence. Trump was found guilty of violating campaign finance laws and maintaining fraudulent business records. Infamous pharma bro Martin Shkreli spent 7 years in prison and paid about 70 million in fines for business fraud. Google has just been found guilty of violating anti-monopoly laws for it’s search functions and will likely be found guilty again for it’s ad monopoly. The FTC has just this week filed a law Suit against prescription drug management firms for artificially inflating insulin drug prices, etc.

True, much more remains to be done and laws need to be changed and stiffened but in the face of these major cases, just a few of many, you holding up your narcissistic wish for a video game indicates a serious distortion of your values.

I make very clear arguments to support my points. You only see the insults because that’s the only part of my posts you have the intellectual capacity to understand.

It already exists.

It’s called GDKP Or Ticket Runs.

Buy gold, buy gdkp or ticket carry runs. Literally the same thing with extra steps.

You can already buy gear with money, it just takes extra steps.

Same man, the niche is there, and it’s clearly working in priv servers.

If you make one giga realm for Permanent Wrath Classic, the high population will be there and will stay, most players will have 8 to 20 chars , and will play with their friend’s multiple times a week while running multiple icc25h a week, that’s how it’s been played in private realms for 14 years now.

Perhaps if Blizzard hadn’t laid off a significant number of employees, they would have the manpower required to develop this and TBC realms effectively. However, as it currently stands, they struggle to re-release 20-year-old content for the fifth time without significant bugs or to address the persistent issues in Cataclysm that have been present since the first beta patch.

seems to be a popular opinion but what you’re really saying is “blizzard please don’t add value to my wow subscription I’ve paid for 10 years straight”

Try more like 20!!!
