Wrath Beta in July-September

They’re setting precedent to rush through wrath too though.

I was never expecting wrath to last more than a year honestly.

Honestly my mindset is they plan to release retail in Q4, so I would assume they would probably release WOTLK Classic in Q3 to help their numbers for end of the Quarter markings.

Some people are excited for Wrath again and I think there are some fun parts about Wrath/starting a new expansion but I agree with you. If I had the choice between running Sunwell and progressing through that or doing super easy mode Naxx for 4 months (after I already ran Naxx 40 for 23 weeks in Classic just a year ago) well, I’d pick Sunwell.

Wrath will be here soon enough.

nah, no way 10.0 is this year. Q1 next year at the earliest

We will have to wait and see but I do think it is going to be a 3 month cycle into a 1 month prepatch.

just based off the seasons, 5-8 months for a season by their own words and we’re only 2 months into season 3 and still have season 4

I still expect Wrath around september though.

I get it, we have to remember that this season of pvp was the shortest wasn’t it back then?

Oh, i was talking 10.0, You’re probably not wrong about wrath, just dragonflight.

Ohhhhhhh I was just trying to make sense on why they were speeding up tbc

Speeding up? Isn’t this only a week or two shorter than most seasons?

It’s probably because Sunwell is still part of T6

I mean honestly I am okay with the overall pacing, another month in hyjal/bt we would probably be deing 99pct of all items. I was just I guess trying to find a justification on why I was thinking it was coming out in Q3, WOTLK that is.

september probably

Been saying this since WoD Alpha closed early and they accepted none of the play test feedback.

Said it again in Classic Vanilla and TBC Beta and again they ignored all the feedback on bugs and insisted “according to our reference client” then months later “oh we fixed such and such bug”

Like really foo? You gonna play that card now? They think we dont remember?

They sure won’t especially since they already said naxx will come 1-2 weeks after launch.

Ah, it won’t happen then  you’re right.

A decision that I’m still not sure of.

doesn’t matter what you think. That’s what they said they are doing

I mean, we can still discuss whether a decision on a change is good or bad.

It’s probably neutral

Definitely not neutral. The SWP items that compete with pre-bis are limited to rings, legs, and trinkets. All the other slots can be replaced with BOE or quest rewards LONG before 80 not to mention dungeon drops that are massively better at 80. Taking a week 1 clear off the table means those items have nearly no value. No one will want to farm the place and spend 1k+ per week for potions, scrolls, drums, elixirs, flasks, reagents, and repairs let alone spending massive gold in a gdkp for gear that will do nothing.
