The real question here, is when are they planning on release then? Because the most current rumors for prepatch where September⌠And yeah even a July beta means beta isnât actually doing anything but a stress/stability test⌠There needs to actually be time to work out issues

It would depend on how busy Sunwell is with the player base. If the populations are dwindling then WotLKC beta would soon to be.
If the PTR is anything to go by, SWP will murder a lot of guilds.

itâs not the same deal as in tier3 in kara/grull.
the gear scale in wotlk is huge, youâll trash most of your SWP gear before you even hit 80.
for example [Sunflare] from Kilâjaeden, 20int 30spell crit 23spell haste 292spell dmg VS
lvl 80 blue normal item drop, 32 Intellect 34spell hit 355spell dmg
swp Muramasa from Mâuru 1handed sword (196-365)Dmg 2.6S (108dps) 17hit 35haste VS
blue sword from quest at lvl 78 (218 - 406) Damage 2.6s (120dps) 19crit 60ap
Not to mention that youâll have very low HP In tbc gear which will cripple players in Sarth HC, but anyway NAXX of wotlk, can be cleared with naked people, itâs 1000times easier than current lvl70 kara
when ZA came out ,bear mount runs only were seen on /4 channel, ,everyone else can screw off was the message was the beloved toxic SOCIAL crowd sent to players who just wanted the non-bear ZA runs, with the new patch it will be the same crap lfg experience again. my sub ends 1jun2022, i wont miss the gdkp and boost runs spamming the /4 channel. ofc the removal of LFD and dual-spec from wrath also made it easier to hit that CANCEL sub button.

I am still tossing up if its worth gearing my tbc character in GDKPs before Wrath (where I will be changing to DK anyway) or just saving the gold to get a headstart on professions.
those are weapons tho, weapons donât generally hold up very well. Lets assume we gem everything with +12 SP (even tho we could choose wotlk gems which would favour the tbc item)
[Sorrowgraveâs Breeches] Ilevel 200 Utgarde Pinnacle Heroic vs [Leggings of Calamity] Ilevel 159 Brutallus
The WOTLK heroic blue has +18 stamina, +30 int and 26 crit.
The TBC item has +32 haste and +13 spell power
The brutallus legs are a rival to these ilevel 200 legs from a heroic. In current gear they sim higher than the heroic legs. Its incredibly unlikely you are gonna find a full set of 178 blues prior to 80 that is going to replace all of your extremely well itemized 70 gear, if 17 level 78 blues exist that are better than sunwell priest bis, iâd still have to get themâŚ
youâll only get to play for a year before they force you to the next expac anyway, so who cares anymore.

lol like 3 pieces out of the entirety of the loot table would be retained. The gear gets replaced by like lvl 65 for 99% of it. No one wants to spend tons and tons of gold on consumes and spend hours and hours wiping because that one dude canât run away from the group quick enough.

I am of the mind not many guilds will have players /gquit because of it but I see a lot of people âtaking breaksâ to be ready for wrath because of it. So same thing accomplished essentially.
It definitely wonât be, because even that weâre already rushing past the original pace.
Wait why are we in a hurry to rush to WoTLK? Weâre finally getting a challenging tier of content to progress through. SWP is exciting af.

Yea, it boils down to âWhy botherâ when you donât need it to clear naxx and youâll just end up replacing it.
Iâm sure theyâll end up putting it into itâs nerfed state soonish when people donât want to deal with it for basically no reason.
Or the people who have no guild and think the game is only gdkp and SR pug runs and will never set foot into sunwell and therefore think âeverybodyâ is disliking it. I am excited to wipe on progression just like with vashj and KT prenerf. Was the most fun so far raiding wise. Looking forward to sunwell

Remember, a guy paid 198k on a 1h sword in Naxx.
So, even if you donât get much gear, getting the gold will definitely help you on WoTLK with your DK.
So, you really think that modern player will do multiples runs of Dungeons to have a chance to get their BiS ? Instead of just crushing Naxxramas which will provide them far more better gear ?
If they get some BiS piece during leveling theyâll replace it. If they donât SWP is clearly enought for Naxxramas and will be used during the firsts clean.
