EDIT: Turns out blizzard intentionally deleted transfers (with no warning) because they think that all realms are connected and that it is a waste of money
All realms ARE NOT connected. The Mankrik cluster (pve) is not connected to Whitemane cluster (pvp). You cannot group in the world with players from those two clusters. Those 2 clusters don’t even share the same auction house. All realms are only linked for the purpose of battlegrounds.
Blizzard’s logic for removing transfers is based on a fallacy and now my other 60 is stuck on the wrong cluster. And by the looks of that thread, I’m not the only one who has been left high and dry with no warning.

I was in the process of moving 60s from WM to Grobb. They are considering returning the service based on our posts. Also, they should remove the 90 day cooldown. It’s almost like they don’t want our money.
They’re trying to keep each cluster in its own sphere of influence; namely this solved a money trap problem within clusters and solved another problem of the botters transferring loot from one cluster to another. IE from a certain cluster to another cluster to flood the market with consumables and gold they hoped to sell.
They could not compete with us on WMC so they had to import it; we complained and they closed the Transfers for likely this reason and the listed reason.
WMC server economy has started to heal as a result.
