WOW needs these things from Guild Wars 2

#1 - guild halls
#2 - personal housing instances
#3 - dodging in combat
#4 - nodes don’t vanish after someone uses them, they’re
account based, not unique
#5 - PVP is skill based, not gear based
#6 - active events for anyone to join in and have fun with
(ffxiv has these , too)
#7 - plant people, the Sylvari (spelling? cuz who doesn’t want
to be a veggie ?)
#8 - actually cool looking cat people as a playable race
#9 - amazing graphics
#10 – instant getting on mounts witih no “cast” time
#11 - necromancers
#12 - diff. playstyle within your class just by changing weapons

thanks

You were the one that was just whining about someone posting about other games in this forum, now you’ve done it 3 times today.

Sometimes I wish I could +2 a post ^^

We already have #7 they’re not playable though they live in gorgrond remember those tree dudes?

And we already have DK’s and warlocks those are necromancers with a different name

I like the personal campaign thing in that game where your choices influence the story, but people seem to hate being locked into a Covenant in WoW for some whack reason

I hope you’re not talking about fates, cause those suck

Yeah, I’d like this.

Really want this.

Eh, subjective. I disliked it immensely in GW2 when I played because it essentially tried to be the replacement for healers. Don’t think WoW needs this, just don’t stand in bad.

Would he indifferent. I can work with either.

Indifferent, I hate PvP.

Hmm? What, like the world events? Yeah, that’d be interesting. We sort of have that with holidays but those are severely dated. Could be cool.

I don’t think this will make or break. WoW has plenty of unique races already. Still, couldn’t hurt, I like plant people.

Not every game needs cat people. Personally I think the werewolves are infinitely better. But Charr are amazing no lies.

WoW already has this.

Already have this, too, if your a Druid!

Also meh, doesn’t matter.

UH DKs are basically this.

Hard pass.

Wrong Flasta post. This one is about GW2, their world events are pretty cool.

Real talk though I do sort of wish I could play Sylvari in other games. As a huge plant hobby nerd I freaking love them. And they glow in the dark too, how cool is that.

You know what we need form Guild Wars 2? Kodan. Bring 'em over, make 'em playable. LET ME PLAY AS A POLAR BEAR

WoW needs none of things.
If you want those things, go play Guild Wars.

If done right, yes, it would create more purpose to being in a guild than green chat and raid night/s

After the trash that was garrisons, this idea has been totally destroyed for me in wow forever.

No.

No, lets try and keep a little MMO in mmorpg

Why not both!

Active events do happen in wow, but players are set in their ways or really only interested in optimal farming of things - if the cant control it in some shape or form they will hate it

??? what are these - and no - we want Ogres before veggies

OGRES first

Wow graphics are unique to wow, the world looks as it should with there specific colour scheme

No a cast time balances things - if you want instant cast (world only) - roll a druid

DK’s 2.0?

I agree with removing restrictions to weapons - if you can weild it in any spec, weild it in all specs.

Enjoy!

they’re ok in gw2

they usually have an interesting obj, chain into others, and actually affect the world if people participate or not

a town will be taken over by a giant that requires a bunch of people to beat, or a bridge will be destroyed until an event starts to rebuild it

1 — Yes
2 — Yes
3 — ???
4 — Yes
5 — Yes
6 — Yes
7 — Nah
8 — Nah
9 — Nah
10 — Yes
11 — Yes
12 — Nah

allso with gw2 content that never becomes obsolete! and an ever evolving world
damn that gw2 is amazing

Nature humans pretty much

Not bad - Ogres first, we have been asking for them since vanilla.

We botani in this game they’re not playable though

Something better though is Kodan, polar bear people

I’d love player housing. Especially if it was as intricate as someone’s idea to make properties sellable/purchaseable on a market. Idk how it would work, but imagine being able to save up your money to purchase a mansion closer to the docks or portal hall on a housing continent?

Set up pikes with the heads of defeated Mythic bosses, have a pet that walks around the house, s.e.l.f.i.e.s. can become pictures on the wall, etc.

Yeah, that’s more interesting than FATEs at least, and WoW doesn’t really have anything to compare except maybe the invasions.

Not bad?! Dekayed, they glow in the dark. And you can customize the glow color and everything. https://imgur.com/a/Qx2M2bJ Come on, that’s cool.

OGRES!!

Have your shiny glow in the dark race join the alliance and get ogres on the horde!
