And their abilities went to the Death Knight class.
How?
But that is EXACTLY what Necromancers do. That is their entire purpose in a class lineup; The class that can raise and control the dead.
If engineering were a class that housed the Tinker’s WC3 and HotS abilities, I would be just fine with it, which is why I don’t understand why a class that contains the Necromancer’s abilities and for all intents and purposes is a Necromancer, and another class that plays like a Necromancer is not enough for you.
Ah k just wanted to make sure you are actually choosing to be ignorant, even though it’s been explained 100 times and explained to you directly 100 times on multiple threads, thanks for the heads up
It’s not about not having an imagination, it’s about what a Necromancer is and is not in Warcraft. Take Shaman and Druids for example; While they both share Nature magic to an extent, the classes are very different from each other; with one being based around shapeshifting, and the other being based around the 4 elements and totems. Druid melee DPS is transforming into a cat and slashing enemies. The Shaman’s melee DPS is pretty much a battle mage that can attack enemies up close and generate instant cast magic attacks. That distinction is rooted in WC3, where you had Shaman units/heroes and Druid units/heroes that would eventually evolve into classes.
The same thing happened with the necromancer-based units and heroes in WC3. They were all folded into the Death Knight class, and the DK in of itself was the Necromancer hero unit in WC3. In short, the Necromancer class in Warcraft is the Death Knight class.
New classes aren’t ‘new classes’ unfortunately - they steal from existing classes.
Give me a 4th spec and let me tank as a Felguard. Tank deficiency has always been a problem in WoW, I’m over sitting around in stupid ques when a tank in group goes all elitist and quits.
nah wow doesnt need anymore classes but it would be cool to have new specs or talent that creat sub spec like gladiator for prot warrior for example and claws of shirvallah talent for feral druid is another ohe
cosmetics like green fire for destro warlock would be cool too for example a shadow priest that has his visual attack using lights or ww monk being blade masters or demo warlock can summon undead instead of demons there is so much possibities
Exactly. And if you notice, the person never responded to that question.
I have no issue with Necromancers if they are functionally different than Death Knights and especially Warlocks, but nothing I have seen indicates that. From what I’ve seen, Necromancers would steal abilities from Death Knights and Warlocks on unprecedented levels, and pretty much replace Warlocks as the dark caster/summoner class in the game.
Necromancer proponents don’t care about that though. All they care about is wanting a necromancer.
I honestly agree. I don’t even care what the new class is. I mean, i enjoyed the heck out of death knights, monks, and demon hunters when they all came out.
They were great. A new class to try out this time around would be awesome.
And it’s fixed with a few glyphs to change their demons to undead. Other than that, I couldn’t possibly see how you could make necros different from locks.
