You can’t render a massively important point redundant just by doing the stupid casing thing.
But it isn’t just about balance, it’s about potential. A Necromancer steps on the toes of Warlocks and DKs.
Think of a cool ability a Necromancer could have.
Now try and justify why DK and Warlock shouldn’t just get it?
If WoW classes were designed better then you’d not need to play every single class just to satisfy your urge for variety and enjoyment in your day to day play time.
We absolutely do not need a new class. We need a expansive talent tree that provides variety to the specs and eliminates borrowed power systems that everyone hates.
Counter point…WoW already has too many classes with 36.
It doesn’t have 36 classes you say? You’re wrong. Every spec is self-contained and meant to function in all modes of content and be competitive in each. All a new “class” would do is introduce even more balance issues as well as further dilute the others of any shred of uniqueness they have left.
They might as well start converting one spec of each pure DPS class to tank or healer. People would rage but there’s no reason to have pure DPS classes anymore.
YES! We need a new class, I’ve played all classes and specs over the years and the game has gotten stale with nothing new, I’m sure most players remaining are old players who have been playing for a long time as well. Also the balancing, blizz have said they make imbalance because they like variety, they will not make everything balanced ever.
