WoW Needs a new class

What?

The ease and speed of leveling has hit ridiculous at this point. WoW is not a lobby game, it is whole World.

And no one said you had to play each class and allied race each expansion. If you don’t like it, don’t do it.

But wanting to take content away from people who do enjoy it is just plain selfish.

Guns bad.

But we can talk about laser guns :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:.

WoW doesn’t need a new class, WoW needs a new development and management team.

Semper Fi! :us:

No, balance as it is is terrible.

What’s your Beef with a proper gun class?

Dragonsworn is the obvious choice if it really is a dragon expansion.

But what is that? How is it different from what we have other than being based on dragon cosmetically

Guns bad.

Except for laser guns. Laser guns cool :alien: :gun:.

And let’s be real. There are no specific weapon class. My mage can use a sword, for crikey’s sake. (Not that she would.)

That’s not really the answer I was looking for I guess.
I think guns fit just fine into WarCraft.

Absolutely Agree.
Any Class that can use Guns should be able to use every type of ranged weapon, IMHO.
So If we get a new class that can use guns…

For the minority of people who have played WoW for decades and have essentially explored ALL the content I’m sure a new class would be appealing, but to the vast majority of the player base a new class is unnecessary in my opinion.

Oh yeah, I totally understood that. I’m probably one of a small few pro Tinker players that would like it to be restricted to Goblins, Mechagnomes and Gnomes. I think an Undermine Goblin allied race would make for a nice 4th.

I have very specific reasons for my opinion on it being restricted, I just don’t like to bring it up anymore. It’s a bit counterproductive to the end goal.

We will say it again to put these bad ideas down. Balance classes don’t add more.

Okay.

one) there is enough gun violence in the real world, I am not really a fan of it being a thing in my fantasy world

two) guns to me equals our modern world and I am not really a fan of things from our modern world being in my fantasy world

three) I hate the sound of them; there is one area (can’t remember where right now) that I had to turn the sound off because I was no longer immersed in an amazing fantasy world, I was trapped in vietnam war movie.

I love that iconic scene of the dwarf on the snowy mountain with his souped up musket and bear. (Wow that music is incredible!)

Okay now I gotta ask:

Do you have something against laser guns?

If real world opinions are going to come up, then I’m going to avoid this conversation entirely.
I mean no disrespect whatsoever. I just don’t think the WoW forums are the place for that conversation.

WoW to me has never been traditional fantasy. And there’s been guns in WarCraft since the RTS days.

I actually find it strange that we have Races entire devoted to Technological apptitude, and Giant titan super computers, and warp technology, and reorigination engines capable of wiping out all life on the planet, and all this crazy Sci-Fi stuff. But we only have one class that even uses guns… and even then it’s only 2 specs…
It’s kind of immersion breaking.

Nope, not at all. I’d love them.

Fixed that for you.

Neither do I.

Which was why I originally just repeated ‘Guns bad’.

And I don’t have a problem with muskets and laser guns and non-modern guns.

Which is why I kept saying laser guns and posted the video including the musket.

Exactly.

Sci-fi stuff, not RL modern stuff.

1 class is not enough. Drop 2 or 3 classes at once

We have a Necromancer, and there’s no Bard heroes in Warcraft, so Tinker it is!
