Wow it didn't last very long

Please stop with your relentless walls of text begging for an NPC race that’s completely irrelevant to the current expansion.

What made me fall in love with gaming were the games twenty years ago. Heck, I play those games to this day and LOVE them still. Now people are just chasing the next high adrenaline hit and then they get bored. Games are so fast paced now, and that isn’t because people changed first, games changed first, and people have had to adapt.

Best way to put it, current games are a mile wide and an inch deep. They lack depth.

Quality over quantity.

There were definitely some great games 20 years ago. No denying that.

Same, I currently have a FFX file going because I forgot how much I love that game.

I think that’s because today we’re absolutely spoiled for choice. We have so many options and so many games that compete for our attention (and money) that they have to offer…something.

Games that started to become fast paced were selling the most. As much as I LOATHE to say it, look at CoD, they made a fast pace game and hooked SO MANY gamers. It’s ridiculous how much CoD sells. Companies saw what was selling so they all wanted a piece of that big money pie.

You’re not playing the right games. There are current games that are slow paced and deep as you can make them. Look at Baldur’s Gate 3. I have 350 hours played on it. It’s not some fast paced, shallow money grab game.

Well if you are refusing other WoW content like the Pillar content on Dungeons, Raid or PvP, you would run out of things to do.

And you played Delves like theres no tomorrow. It just made you bored with nothing left to do so fast.

On me, i feel i would be saturated with Delves very soon. So i am preparing myself to switch on Mythic+. I am climbing up on keys. By the time Delves wont upgrade me anymore, i should be ready to face M+7.

And you think i would stop on M+? Nope, if Delves becomes completely useless to me, the time I used for it would be used for Raid.

And i am not rushing this game. I have all 30 weeks of the Season to have it done.

I dont think i would run out of things to do. I am having a blast.

So worth it! I’m fleeing Macalania Temple right now

No it’s not the same. Today everything is based on ilvl, the color of the items is irrelevant only the item’s level. In vanilla items were not normalized to have the same amount of stats. Epics had significantly more stats in the original release where you would farm lower tier raids to get better loot for recruits and alts. A new raid tier would require that you had the previous raid’s gear.

this is, in fact, an opinion. and it’s a bad one.

Great, what does that have to do with seasons? Token prices fluctuate all the time

Maybe WOW’s no longer the game for you, plenty of others to play.

Probably has to do with the page for cancelling your sub linking you here for feedback, which is kind of funny since they likely won’t ever even read it but hey.

Since you asked nicely. I’ll be cool… just like a Tuskarr!

oh wow, you mean delves are a short lived experience because it turns into a weekly fishing game that you fill out for your scratcher card at the end?
Say it aint so.

Dude.
They JUST got a new staff, and activision is crawling up their butt and growing thorns.
Don’t be a dick.

GL out there OP. I think you’ll find other, more satisfying games if you look for them. I’ve found a few. I’ve unsubbed recently myself. I don’t particularly enjoy the game much right now. I tend to come back after a bit, but it seems like the same old stuff gets me irritated and I unsub after a while, for a while. I think they know, we’ll be back, which is why they act the way they do (blizz). Whatever. Every time I quit could be the last time. Especially with the introduction of newer, better games. They should keep that in mind.

Blizzard is a publicly traded corporation, and so has as their sole responsibility to increase shareholder value (make the stock price go up). To do this they must make more profit every quarter, and the only way to do this is to charge more for their game, or spend less. They have clearly determined that charging more is not an option (it’s already the most expensive game in the world), so they constantly cut corners to deliver less. They lay off massive amounts of devs (leaving us to deal with the massive increase in down times), clearly they don’t replace hardware on any reasonable schedule, so we face lag spikes in game on a regular basis, they design the game to try to force players to buy tokens for crafted items (or even just to level crafting), and also for carries for mounts that come only from high level content.

In the future, this must continue - Blizz must spend less and less on their games, and charge more and more for it, or they won’t continue to increase shareholder value. It’s not going to get better - ever.

I’m keeping my eyes open for an indy/non-corporate dev to make an MMO. Indy studios are the only hope for decent gaming experiences in the future.

Blizzard has zero shares and is fully owned by MS now. MS shares are worth trillions and XBOX gaming division that ABK is now a part of is only a part of that overall. ABK while a massive merger is still just a drop in the bucket of MS.

The mythic+ crowd? You want me to tolerate some juvenile 35 year old telling me to get gud?!

No thank you.

I disagree with that statement.

You claim transmogs are accessible, but are they really? There is still no system in place, so that we can just queue into an old dungeon or raid. You must travel to each entrace, which is so stupid in 2024, especially if we consider that there is a queue system in the game.

Where is mount collecting accessible, if goblins / bots do camp the spawn points? I once tried to get a certain mount, after two weeks I gave up. I did not see the mob dropping it once!
Add to this, the above issue, that we can not queue for instanced content, plus a lot of old content can still not be done solo and that old content is constantly removed so the mounts, transmogs or pets become unoptainable.

Pet battles were abondoned years ago by Blizz, or have they ever added anything there? We have to travel the world to grind coins, so we can upgrade a pet, that however, serves no real purpose at all. Where is the fun, where are the new mechanics, a new system…

Add to this, that we must rely on external tools to find transmog, pattern, pets or mount locations.
Why is the adventure guide so poorly done?

I also wonder how you can claim the gameplay is accessible, if old school flying is locked behind an achievement. Many players can´t stand or access dragon riding, due disabilities, they are left in the cold here.

Sure, the game has a lot of fun things added over time, but just like with housing, Blizzard adds something and then forgets about it as all they upgrade and develop further are their max level raids and mythic dungeons.

Even Delves have been disappointing as they are rather 5 men dungeons instead of solo endgame content for casuals.
