It feels like I’ve been playing the same game loop for far too long. Now I just feel frustrated and burned out. Nothing I had hoped for the game came to fruition.
Didn’t even hold my interest for 3 months. Good luck Microblizz with releasing beta games live. I’m outta here.

Was honestly a let down for me as well. I had “quit” about halfway through DF, but came back to see how the new xpac was looking. Not for me, so just been faffing around in classic when I get the itch till my sub runs out. Maybe.

I think people’s expectation of a game they’ve been playing for near 20 years are just too high.
The absolute FACT of the matter is as of DF and TWW (modern) WoW has never been better.
Gameplay, story, graphics and even extra curricular systems (transmog, mount collecting, pet battles etc.) have never been more accesible or fun.
I fully believe the people who say this, either do not like modern WoW’s formula… which is now nearly a decade old by the way.
Or are jaded and need to quit warcraft as they’ve grown tired of it and can’t accept that.

99% of the people in GD are looking for anything else to blame, when in reality it’s this. They just don’t like the game anymore.
They’ll still scream about removing X and changing Y and how banning Z would bring back whoever, etc. - in the end it makes no difference.
I blame the seasonal format. Terrible idea for an MMO.
I expect the game to be less grindy, basically.
If that’s too high then I guess Blizzard is done for.
what do you think patches were, from nearly the very beginning?
every patch brought gear upgrades, events, some brought new dungeons, class changes, etc.

In Vanilla your loot lasted until TBC. I was wearing the ZG rep chest until TBC literally came out. It was still good.
Yes but at the start those things were extensions of a larger ladder of content. Now added content completely replaces what got added in the previous patch.
Yeah I ran into the rune crest wall from Delves and figured I have no desire to farm up dozens of delves to upgrade gear above 606. So I’m pretty bored with WoW now.
That’s what happens when you make leveling take a couple hours and then gearing takes a couple weeks and season is done. I geared so fast that I’m already taking gem slots from the vault and I don’t even do high end content.
I don’t understand with the pace of the game why professions are so gated.
This and all of this. DF and TWW have been such good steps in the right direction after BFA and SL.
Seasonal format is just another way of saying raid tiers. Which WoW has had for a very very very long time.

This is an RPG video game. They allcome down to questing to level and some other side stuff spread out over the game.
We have new delves, so the company IS working to expand content available…but there was never gonna be anything mind blowingly different here.
