I’ve been mixing in some satisfactory 1.0 to ease burnout. Been looping the loop organs all week.
I think everything you said here is true except the gameplay part. The systems put in this game are crushing your accessibility and fun quote.
Can I have your teeth? I have dredger friends in Revendreth that are always asking.
Playing with IRL friends. I was casual for a lot of it.
Also there is no other MMO for me. I’ve tried a bunch and unfortunately toilet water is better than swamp water and poop water, WoW is just toilet water.
(But you sure got me with your thought terminating cliche!!!)
Must be truly addicted to pay for a game you consider toilet water. Oh well, thanks for funding my delves I guess.
Life is toilet water. I’m still here. Get over yourself gas lighting hypocrite.
Everyone is different and I would never knock other people’s opinions, because mostly they are just that.
As for myself, I love this expansion, the npcs are great, the story is good, the quests are enjoyable and I’ve done a lot of them more than once now. I like most of the WQs, the delves are fine, most of the mounts are cool, although I feel like the lynx and ram mounts are lacking as far as other cool recolor options, seems like only a few for each one. Overall I’m enjoying this expansion a lot for what I like to do.
Wife is currently running a character through DF and will probably buy TWW soon, and then we’ll do delves together and I’ll help her with a few things, so also looking forward to that since I usually just fly solo. No issues for me that would make me want to quit, which is fine, I only speak for myself.
I used to be angry but then I stopped being angry and started being awesome instead. True story.
You seem like a miserable person.
You seem like a not so bright person.
Anyone else have any comments? Please expose yourselves so I can block.
Lashing out just makes it clear that the nail was hit, sweetheart
For me, it’s when your bagel gets stuck in the toaster.
Drives me nuts.
How do people run the same dungeons over and over without getting bored?
Like oh here we go Grim Batol for the 30th time this week how exciting!!!
I think you struck a nerve
I concur. I always feel like people are stunned a game that had the same “model” for lack of better words — I’m talking how characters work (tab targeting you have talents to pick) to there questing and leveling up and then end game offers raids dungeons mythic plus now they did add delves but besides that — that’s the formula of the game .
People been playing it for years and years but then act like “oh I though the entire play model of the game and how we control the characters would be different “
Expansions bring new zine story quests and raids and usually a feature . That’s the model wow had forever. Why so much surprise?
But anyway cracks me up.
What works for me is pacing myself. I don’t gobble up all the new stuff at once. I’ll go back and play old expansions, level, collect etc while the new stuff is still new.
I don’t fall into the competitive category, and I’ll generally find things to do nearly every day.
(I do wish old stuff got more love than it does, at least in the bug fixing/scaling department, but I digress.)
The game is too focused on gear, gear, gear. Gear everywhere. Sure in classic the goal was to get gear, but it wasnt constantly thrown at your face. You actually enjoy raiding and doing group content and when you get a piece of gear it is more rewarding.
Now it is oh I need to login and do all the weekly stuff for my chance at that 3 point item level update. Gear gear gear. People arent playing to actually play but to get gear.
We used to play for fun and to get gear.
Take a step back. Stop worrying about gear and just have fun doing things. And if you are not. Go play something else. That is what I am doing.
Take this with a grain of salt but it is my opinion.
Right now in the game there are only a handful of things to do in this expansion, which has been also the same thing to do in my expansions before.
- Heroic dungeons
- Mythic dungeons ( push io )
- Lfr raids
- Normal raids
- Heroic raids
- Mythic raids
- World quests
- Delves ( newly added to this list )
- Achievements
- Crafting
- Quests.
- Farming transmogs
- Farming mounts
- Exploring
- Role play ( largely a player driven thing, while also being a super small community )
That’s pretty much it.
I personally think the game lacks anything that can be carried from expansion to expansion which ties us to our character besides our character. I think they need to add something that we can work on through each expansion which carries over to the next expansions.
The first thing that comes to mind in player housing. I know there are two polar sides of this opinion. But I think giving us something to do when not doing the things above that is relaxing, and can be carried through to each expansion would be beneficial to all of us. Like maybe next expansion we get 3 bedroom houses, then the next expansion we can add another 2 rooms. This would keep growing always giving us something to decorate but more importantly would keep up more tied to the game because we created something. It would open the door for more role play. Not that I am part of this crown but yeah.
Just from your first sentence “The modern team has been doing their best to scuff gameplay.”
I know there is no debate to be had here, we have totally different views on the state of the game and I’ve played since BC.
That wasn’t my first sentence.
Are you sure it wasn’t everything else that I said that leaves you with the feeling that there is no debate to be had? You missed all this:
Moving from MMO currencies, systems and economy to mobile gaming currencies, systems and economy is scuffing gameplay.
