Aye, they need to take a huge break. I do, otherwise I’ll get burnt out from this game.
I partially agree, it’s deff a new modern wow, the gameplay and extra stuff to do is great. The game is in a good spot for a lot of people, but I think it peaked for me back in SL, and that’s OK. Really like the state of M+ at the time. I think the story is absolute dogwater though.
For all the downsides that artifacts, covenants, and legendary items had, people never really mention the massive upside those “systems” provided. They were engaging gameplay. They were fun to use.
If your bored give me your gold. Then youll have something to do to build it back up.
This is the problem of many wow players. They’re simply tired of playing the same game for so many years, and doesn’t matter how bad or good the content is, they will evetually get bored quickly after the launch.
They just need admit it to themself instead of blaming the game. But i’m not saying that everything added during this last expansions is good, but in many cases the problem is the player and not the content.
Yeah they were fun! Could point out flaws and poke fun about running laps in Oreos, but each zone had its own vibe going and I felt more engaged with the systems and what was going on, whole xpac was just more interesting to me.
It was fine in Legion. Fact of the matter is they started going way overboard with it and getting really slimy with it.
At BFA launch you couldn’t even equip Azerite gear, literally, it just sat in your bags until they nerfed the neck requirement down.
I couldn’t stand BFA simply because of class design. The only expansion I ever bought that I never even finished leveling through. I tried swapping classes but every one of them that I had any interest in just felt awful, especially after Legion.
That and it was a Troll-themed expansion for the Horde. I never really vibed with Troll’s aesthetic.
Oh yeah class design was horrendous also. I played Unholy. Twenty button opener and our BiS Azerite traits were bugged for half the expansion (the skellie mages). Good times.
This is even a good x-pac so far. People just have to take a break for a couple years.
They all fall ONE by ONE
I still enjoy arenas but I had intended on getting back into PvE this expansion for the first time since SL (I cleared every raid on normal in DF and never looked back) but even just looking at the mess of upgrade system and so many pieces of gear and weekly crap to do… I was like naw
Lots of people are angry about the guild bank unrecoverable items, and lots have said they quit over it.
? The last time we got rep/renown from the three pillars of raid, m+, pvp was back in SL. DF and TWW are objectively worse than what came before them in a number of areas just like this. Expectations of what we already had, not met.
The modern team has been doing their best to scuff gameplay.
The upgrade system has been getting grindier and more tedious with every seasonal patch.
It takes 8-9 dungeons to fully upgrade 1 piece of gear lol. We have what, 15, 16 gear slots?
Resto druid is in the worse place it’s been ever.
The story has been notoriously bad since SL, some say since Legion end…
Dracthyr can’t even use xmog and that was a DF pillar feature lol
lol make it make sense
Disagree. The game has made a lot of progress but lost a lot of what made it great catering to spreadsheet heroes and streamers.
Throne and Liberty just came out yesterday. If you want a reminder of how good WoW actually is in the genre, you could go play that garbage for a bit.
Less reputation ahem cough cough renown crap.
More balanced pvp .
Cooler dungeons not lame stuff like we got
Is this an example of that “Main Character Syndrome” I hear about? Why do people essentially blog about everything? Move on to another game. No need for a letter of resignation.
If it dropped into the toilet, why have you played all these years?
yup, it’s this. “i want something brand new and exciting! but it has to be just like the things i liked from the past!”
