wow is indeed not a massive multiplayer online rocket propelled grenade
The orcs were never bloodthirsty in the first place. The Legion caused them to be like that…have you ever read the lore or anything?
Outland showed us Orcs were not always bloodthirsty and violent people.
what if wow out of nowhere releases vmmorpg as the next expansion and subbing gives you a free interface to play it we would play it for another 20 years at that rate
Warcraft 1 came before everything else.
That is not a defence nor does it mean much anymore.
Time moves on, new lore comes into play and things change. Soz m8 but using WCI no longer cuts anything.
Would be boring if nothing really changed over 30 years.
and then we got WoD that said yes, yes they always were as they proceeded to do the same things they did after drinking fel blood cocktails in the main timeline.
Road of bones was a constant. The orcs did that, of their own choice, twice.
They were always a violent group, even the frostwolves.
You can’t re-write history.
Warcraft 1 coming first, depicted the Orcs as blood thirsty savages and I’d bet the human survivors whose kin got killed during that first invasion won’t forget either.
LOL yeah. The first whoever that does a halfway decent VRMMO RPG or FPS or Sim City, will pretty much be able to print their own money for the next couple of decades.
Oh you mean the AU Draenor where everything is not a 1 to 1.
We forgetting that that the AU Orcs were corrupted by the Legion in the end anyway?
Also AU Path of Glory:
" The Path of Glory is an iron-paved road starting northeast of Talador, at a draenei bridge near Frostwolf Overlook Bladefury’s , and continuing east to the Gates of Tanaan. There, the path continues through Tanaan Jungle bisecting the entire zone and leading to the Dark Portal"
Also again, it hardly matters NOW.
Sure it does.
You just can’t get rid of everyone who remembers.
Still proves my point, even in an AU with no fel blood, they still acted as bloodthirsty warmongers. Your statement does not help your stance.
I also mentioned it was not 1 to 1 already, as most AU’s aren’t. Orcs still overwhelmingly chose violence in both the main and AU timelines.
it is an mmorpg, rpgs take many forms, it doesnt need to be dnd with 50 spreadsheets to be a rpg
Pepperidge Farm Remembers
ahh wrong person
I mean… this has been true since Cata.
Road of bones was a constant. The orcs did that, of their own choice, twice. ← You.
The Path of Glory in AU is not the same as the one in the MU.
Plus it was only due to Garrosh Hellscream that the Iron Horde came to be with the help of Kairo (since he took him to the AU), if that never happened or the Legion, the Orcs would not be mass killing others.
Move on, it was 30 years ago. I remember WCI, II and III but if you want WCI go play WCI.
Personally I enjoy the way WoW is now.
And yet the orcs remain bloodthirsty in both timelines.
And?
Gave them an excuse to do what they were planning on doing already just without the fel blood. they still held a meeting to drink the blood prior to Garrosh arriving and revealing himself. Therefore, they planned to continue being murderers regardless of Garrosh or no Garrosh.
They freed themselves from the ogres, just to turn and do the same things to the Draenai.
They still invaded azeroth via the dark portal, no legion or fel blood did that.
Still ran a genocide campaign against the Draenai. No legion or fel blood did that.
In fact, the iron horde ACTIVELY fought against gul dan’s influence and that of the legion AND STILL were genocide machines.
Two timelines of orcs being bloodthirsty warmongers says you are wrong.
you are using reasons that do not support your angle.
Now you can fall back on my remark about the road of bones, appreciate the correction on that, or you can address the actual argument.
My favorite part of these threads is how we make up new, never before seen definitions of "MMO’ and "RPG " to ensure WoW misses the cut
WoW has been that way for most of its lifetime. You zip between attractions and kinda ignore everything between.
