I feel like it’s been that way for a while and I’m ok with that, I just wish people would stop doing content they hate for every cosmetic, it gives Blizzard the out to skip out on quality because people will play it no matter how broken and terrible it is. So they just make garbage content now because people will play it regardless.

WoW has always been like that. Even before transmog came into the game many people had gear sets they kept for various reasons that had no bearing on combat.

WHile this statement is true. A LOT of the griping has nothing to do with new content. It has to do with being bad at, or completely uninterested in pvp. While the content itself is new, the pvp part of it is not. And a huge portion of the community has zero interest in anything pvp … new or not.

I’m pretty sure there are people who mythic/heroic raid and do rated arena just for mogs.

You think the complaining is wild now? Just imagine of they tied gear upgrades to it. There are still plenty of paths to upgrades in the game. Let go of the drama.
Tho, would be nice if they added some pvp specific things for those people that enjoy that aspect of the game.

WoW has always been about playing with and accessorising digital dolls. That’s why I always get a laugh when someone acts tough because they have a powerful PvP character, which is basically a pixelated Barbie doll with tusks and an axe.
Congrats! You figured out what an MMO…and really any RPG is. Barbie’s that fight. Now if we can just get housing we can make this thing awesome!
