"WoW is not a solo RPG" takes are why we need soloization

That right there is telling me how I play and view the game is wrong and your is the correct way.

And here is when you told me to admit I was wrong

And I never argued that.

:+1: One of my favorite memes says, “There are 7.6 billion people on this planet. I like maybe 6 or 7 of them.”

I think thats the beauty of this game…and well ESO as well…that I can play how I want and enjoy my game time.
Solo if I want…group content if I want. Theres plenty of both to do.
If I was forced to play grouped in either id quit and go find something solo offline to play instead.

and its this games players who can take credit for that because…again…I LOVE healing 5 man runs.

I use that saying too sometimes when I’m mad at someone, except I change it.

I say instead if it was up to me, there would be only one.

Thanos, did it all wrong. (SNAPPED)

That sounds about right for me too heh heh. All my buds from work are dead, half my sisters and my brother is gone. All going away on me. “That long black cloud is coming down”.

This debate is just as absurd as the PC v Console v Phones one. They are all valid things to play games on just as playing solo or with others are just as valid as each other.

What I would like to see is gear that is really fit for purpose . What I mean is that tier bonuses from raids only work in that raid. PvP gear should have bonuses that only work in PvP. Same with M+ and world gear.

Big deal if I have to farm different gear for M+ than raids ( it will only be in 4 to 5 slots) . PvP though should be every slot. I don’t think I should be able to best a regular PVPer of the same ilvl because I have raid tier and they dont.

Hell in BFA I carried 4 sets of raid gear for different encounters in the raid . It’s easy to switch

indeed

Everyone is right, and so everyone is wrong. Except for those who acknowledge the middle path that all things exist in a balance.

Again, you are showing your propensity to twist reality to suit your feelings. Telling you that your interpretation of what “mmorpg” means is wrong has absolutely no correlation to how you play the game. Telling you that you’re calling a Ford a Chevrolet is NOT a comment on how you drive the car.

Wrong about your interpretation. Has nothing to do with how you choose to play.

You really need to relook your reading comprehension. Try reading ONLY what is written instead of inserting your bias and reading something into it that wasn’t written,

I don’t think people encouraging community and working together is somehow translating into this. This feels mostly disingenuous. Never throughout my time encouraging people to work together as a group and get something done have I thought about gatekeeping other individuals.

Yeah, this is ridiculous. The only person giving people such ridiculous power is you with these lines of thought.

I understand and respect that. I don’t play single player games for the same reasons, I like to run with groups and socialize, I find raiding and dungeons with people quite fun and I am warming up to PvP.

awww, Chuckles got mad at me and put me on ignore. Boo Hoo.

Cherry picking again, btw, you are on ignore, to me now, you are just body gas in the wind.

You read into the persons meaing of “I feel” way too wrong, turning it into an emotion instead of a figure of speech. Such as “I feel dogs are better then cats” This isn’t an emotion just a statement of opinion. They was literally saying it is their opinion that MMo’s should be for group content. I agree with the solo nature of things same side here, but in this argument you are twisting things either intentionally or by mistake. Best to let that line of argument drop.

I’m only reading the words that are written. Your analogy makes sense, but seeing it that way is not always the way it comes out. It was not my intention to misrepresent what the poster said, only respond to what was written. Maybe if “it’s my opinion that” had been used instead of 'I feel" my response would have been different. But as you suggest, perhaps it would be best to move on from that part of the discussion.

The thousands of posts don’t ever seem to translate into people who want to play with me while I try to learn how to tank. Sure, some of them say they’ll be glad to help, but never four at once during the times I’m able to play.

I am definitely looking forward to these new changes. Now maybe I can learn different classes without getting insulted and/or kicked.

Anyone have a TL;DR? I’m not reading all of that.

Let us ask for solo play experiences without screeching at us that an MMo means you have to always be grouped.

is the basic tldr.

grow up

MMOs are not meant to be single player games.

go play a single player game instead of trying to further ruin MMORPGs.

cringe.
