sounds about right. TA TA!
You didn’t comprehend what was said, did you? I didn’t say y’all shouldn’t have options. I said accept the rewards that are available, I’m all for more content whether it’s solo or group. I too enjoy solo content.

Exactly.
Notice that if left to our own WE arent in here running OUR mouths at THEM if they are M+ only, love their game and want more content.
THEY, however, cant seem to just GO PLAY THEIR GAME and NOT run their mouths at solo player in here when we’re simply talking about enjoying our solo game or liking the idea of more solo content…“ITS AN MMO, GO PLAY SKYRIM IF YOU WANT SOLO!!”…or some other such trash comment aimed at an attack at solo players.
Its NONE of their BUSINESS how we choose to play the game.
and my guess is there are enough of us now that Ion and crew are going to have to start accomodating us in some fashion.
Oh…wait…theyre doing just that when the new AI dungeons…lol.
Which I tried by the way and LOVED what Im seeing so far.
I pulled a decent amount and it went well.
Then I overpulled and nearly caused a wipe, healer died and we barely took down the twins in Uldum lol.
Very nice feature.
yeah…and so youre perma blocked for trolling me with a misquote.
good job PROVING our point about your crowd
actually your comment originally to me had nothing to do with what i was even talking about which was in-game and peoples attitudes which is why i want more solo stuff. i was kind enough to reply to it. idk wtf rewards youre talking about…i was talking to the other dude lol so uh…alrighty then. but hey thanks for proving why i wanna be away from ya!
did you just assume my feelings, gender and age?
Whatever theyre TRYING to do in here, theyre certainly confirming precisely what we’re saying about their behavior, attitudes and personal attacks.
Proving the reason WHY we dont want to play with their group.
It’s funny because they are on a CLASSIC character in the retail forums, and also part of the “YOU MUST LIKE THIS GAME HOW I TELL YOU TO” crowd. I say solo on. I have three people in the whole game I enjoy doing content with. Three. MAYBE a fourth person if I feel up for a Mythic and want to deal with my tank friend for any real length of time.
its hysterical how every time this kind of topic comes up the literally come in to CONFIRM the very behavior we’re telling them makes us hate them. hate their behavior and attitudes and hate the idea of playing group content with them. lol.
youd think theyd figure it out and NOT give more evidence to prove our case in here but that one seems to have been on a mission to do just that, lol
but but but…muh MMO’z. lmao.
I think THEY think “MMO” is defined as PVP / group content only lol.
No…ESO is an MMO and I have NEVER played group content a single time over there because that MMO has so much to do SOLO that I never NEED to play in a group.
the only MMOs I have played that REQUIRE me to interact with other players are Pvp games…first person shooters and such.
They tell me I cant play this game solo, yet somehow for YEARS now ive been doing just that and loving.
Thats because MY ‘end game’ is mog hunting. One of the best things this game has ever added to keep casual players playing the game. And one more reason if they ever add housing they could dramatically increase the play value for the vast majority of solo casual players by having tons of stuff to farm for it, just like mogs and dragonriding mount mods.
I dont NEED to play group content to enjoy playing this game.
I prove that fact for HOURS a day, every day.
WoW is an MMO-RPG. MMO just means many people play on the same server at the same time. It’s still a RPG which traditionally is ONE player becoming the hero of their own story.
What if we already do, and if they’re also in pickup groups, too.
Yeah no, it’s definitely a matter of them just showing how they are and not wanting to admit they are wrong in their actions that caused their ilk to be hated in the first place. I can’t stand the M+ crowd. If my game is played with a spreadsheet, it isn’t a game. That’s called a job. Let’s not mention the fact that the vast majority of them would be absolutely terrible at the game without their precious WeakAuras.
I second that, just look at the rhetoric from people on these forums that are adamant M+ defenders, some of them are among the most annoying posters on these forums. They need to gatekeep this content, because I think people don’t want to play with players that behave this way.
I guess we are pretending that these are unconnected…
The game isn’t what is driving people away. The absolute garbage, toxic community has driven players away. Say you’re a fresh player, stepping into the world of Azeroth for your first time ever. You get through Exile’s Reach and think to yourself “Hey I want to try a dungeon. Let’s see how it goes.” And get thrust into the most rushed thing you’ve ever done, and if you don’t keep up with the stupid pace that people love to go with, you get kicked. Welp, you aren’t goping to do dungeons for a while after that. “Maybe when I hit 70 it’ll be better. I’ll just quest” you think to yourself.
You don’t know how wrong you are with that thought. You hit 70, get your catch up gear that Blizz is nice enough to provide you so you can get right into content. You go to queue up for a M+ to see what that’s like. Only to then find out because you aren’t in the current “meta” players have made up for the season, you aren’t ever going to get in. “Okay, maybe a raid.” You think. “Surely this can’t be that bad.” Only to then see that for some very, very stupid reason people want HEROIC LEVEL GEAR FOR A NORMAL RAID. It isn’t Blizzard’s fault people don’t want to play the game. It is people like you. People like the M+ crowd. People who gatekeep all the content.
I don’t really see the issue with AI parties in normal dungeons.
It keeps the flow of questing up without having to wait for a queue before turning that zone’s endcap quest in and moving on. Plenty of other MMOs have it and giving it to trivial content in WoW isn’t going to hurt anything.
If you’re concerned with protecting “the social experience of Normal dungeons” then you need to go back and reassess what it is you’re trying to protect, because it doesn’t exist.
As far as Im seeing its not the REAL M+ crowd who comes i here foaming at us.
Ive watched some of them for years now posting in here and you get the impression they TRY to be hard core players but suck hard at it so they come in here to attack others to build up their low self esteem/bruised ego on the backs of others.
Its pretty typical behavior from those with performance issues of whatever sort.
They cant keep up with their crowd…well, the crowd they WISH they were, lol…so they attack others who they THINK are lower than themselves because its ‘safe’ in their own minds to do so, figuring that theres nothing we can say that affects them.
This is why they get so bent out of shape when you DO show them up in here. lmao.
They came in with the high and mighty ego to put lowly solo casuals in their place and then were outdone by the same persons. lol
They react by lashing out even harder…as we’ve seen recently in this very thread.
A psychologist would have a field day on this forum lol
I’d take it a step further. I’ve been saying since Dragon Soul that LFR should have always been a solo experience similar to Wrath’s “Battle for the Undercity”, where the big-name NPC’s are there to do the heavy lifting and explain what’s going on.
If the point of LFR is for people to see the story, Blizzard should let them do it at their own pace, without having to deal with the GO GO GO GO GO and toxic crap that happens so often in LFR.
Has blizz actually ever said that’s the reason? I’ve always figured its just to make these big expensive (timewise) raids accessible to everyone.
