This is what I’m waiting for too. I have a feeling that New World is going to take a lot of PvPrs from wow.

You really should. It’s one of the best Final Fantasy games period as far as I’m concerned.
If that Nvidia leak is real, we’re presumably getting War of the Lions on PC, which will be pretty cool. Although I don’t think the game will ever hold a candle to the modded content (FFT 1.3) from a gameplay point of view.

Tactics is cool but not a traditional ff game.
FFXIV has the worst combat system of any MMORPG I’ve played over the last 20+ years. Even Ultima Online’s crappy combat system is better than FFXIV’s. Clunky, boring abilities, 2.5 GCD, no thanks.
The quests are monotonous, too many invisible walls, every thing feels like it’s on rails. There’s no sense of adventure, I feel like I have to load into a new section of the zone/city every 15 seconds.
FFXIV is utter trash, so no thanks.

I could never get used to FFXIV’s awful graphics.
But I’m already playing both.
WoW’s a hard game to shake tho, no matter how boring it is. It’s been a part of nearly my entire adult life. 
I remember when I was edgy and hated on FFXIV. Those were the days. Until I actually put some time into the game and realized it was vastly superior to WoW. I don’t know how I ever thought WoW was the better game.

As much as I absolutely love FFXIV, nothing in that game can compare to playing a Demon Hunter in the open world.
But that story over there, damn. So good. And I love how the focus is on keeping it a RPG first. That used to be WoW until somewhere around 2016.

The reason the story right now is garbage was because of one guy and that guy is now fired.
Which game? lol. Even FFXIV’s “bad” stories have been more enjoyable than WoW since Legion. (With the exception of the Thrall and Draka reunion. That was good.)
And I believe Danuser is still plagiarizing Star Wars over here.

WoW’s story let me explain.
Afrasiabi the guy in charge of story dev for WoW wanted to do a different story arc for Garrosh, Blizzard however said no, so Afrasiabi made Sylvanas a villain as payback however midway though this arc Afrasiabi was fired for abusing Female Blizzard employees. This left Blizzard in a tough bind forcing them to change the story for example it was clear in Sanctum of Dominion that Sylvanas was to be captured or killed off …her escaping was a last minute addition.
Oh, word. Well here’s hoping. I just hope Elune doesn’t turn out to be a knockoff of Abeloth.
Whether true or not, it’s too bad, that’s how I would have liked to see Sylvanas end.
