Letting WoW go is one thing.

Forcing myself to enjoy FF14 is another.

There are about a hundred other games where my time is better spent imo.

Guys i finished the MSQ for FFXIV last night, all expansions.

408 Hours worth of content, solid game highly recommend if you are interested in story that isn’t written anything like Blizzard…

I tried FFXIV and it didn’t work for me. I think all of the invisible walls compared to WoW really turned me off. Thinking about trying ESO though, has anyone tried that?

I played ffxi before wow. I heard they learned a lot from the best since then. Still no.

November…oceanic servers is when I’ma give FF14 another go, but till then I’m trying super hard to get all my M+ Portals, got 3 so far 5 to go, then I wanna learn to heal raids try get AotC! Plenty of time before November!.

FFXIV is a great game, even better than wow in some aspects. But gameplay is definitively not one of them, so i can’t enjoy it. Bit i recognize all his qualities. And it doesn’t have warlocks/necromances, so i can’t forgive him.

Well 5 days until New World and that is more my style than FF and the PvP looks great.

I bought FFXIV years ago and have all expansions. I play it on occasion, but very rarely. It’s a good game, but I only play for a month or two before I get bored and leave it. There are many things I like about the game, but something about it that just doesn’t keep me engaged.

I much prefer Guild Wars 2. I love that game and have been playing that for some time now, since the first closed beta. It’s much better than WoW in my opinion in many ways. My two go to games and favorites are WoW and GW2. I think that if Guild Wars 2 came out the same time as WoW and I played both, GW2 is the one I would have spent many years on instead of WoW. I think I have stuck with this game for many reasons out of mostly nostalgia. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good game and I do enjoy it still, but Blizzard took a wrong turn years ago and they can’t seem to get back how great this game once was. I rarely ever log in any more.
