No it doesn’t. The game’s community is NO different now than it was when I started in BC. Literally the same people playing now then back in the past. Our expectations are largely the same as well. The game has added harder content though and that alone is going to create more division because… simply put, you can’t clear that content unless you’re picky.

Look, all of us saw the writing on the wall when it came to covenants and EVERYTHING people feared came to fruition. This has NOTHING to do with min/max or over optimizing. Some covenants account for 20-30% of a players damage or MORE in many situations. This is massive. This isn’t a little optimizing…
Clueless as ever. It’s a tool to allow players to build groups. That’s it. Don’t like it? Don’t use it and build your own groups and quit crying about the tools other players use to help build their groups. Make your OWN groups and this is a complete moot point.
TLDR: angry player unwilling to make own groups and instead complain about elitism because they aren’t invited.
What does that haveto do with the most difficult content dropping the best loot? Should heroic drop better gear than mythic? Should PvPers haveto drop their ilvl when they hit 2100?
How dont they, I have done a couple 15s and heroic cleared , im 217 which is over the heroic item level , so how don’t the rewards match the effort?

As someone with literally 0 mythic experience, I believe RIO should stay in place.
I hated the idea of it at first as others explained their positions, but now seeing it as a whole, I get it…it’s a necessary evil or some other way to “inspect” a players aptitude to perform X content would take its place.

We should all start out with mythic level raid gear, all toys, mounts, etc simply because OP doesn’t like that people who have been playing have a network of friends and he would have to actually put forth effort to break into that network.
