When I do an LFR, it’s only because I want a cosmetic out of there or I’m doing it for a 430 weapon drop on an alt.
I took my baby hunter into LFR Skitra for the bow when she dinged because…why not? I was bored and no WQ bows were up, and I queued. I didn’t get the bow, but every piece of gear, people would dogpile the person who won it. Um. No. It’s personal loot. They don’t have to give it up if they don’t want to.
That Maut staff is BiS for Guardian Druids. The Hive Mind polearm is BiS for Feral Druids. Anyone who tried to guilt you into giving it up is wrong.
Unfortunately, it’s my opinion that there’s nothing to be done about player behaviour, because it’s simply a reflection of changes in attitude and behaviour in real life.
Studies seem to indicate that there has been a real rise in NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) and ASPD (Antisocial Personality Disorder) over the last couple of decades. NPD, in particular, seems to have increased from less than 1% of the population to about 3-4% of the population, with the majority of these being male. (Sorry guys, the statistics are unambiguous in this case. And, despite my avatar, I’m a guy too, so it gives me no pleasure that the stats are so skewed.)
This is especially worrying, because these two disorders are considered to be significant causes of workplace disruption, marriage breakdowns, and criminality (about on par with alcoholism and addiction).
As Soon as you say toxic, it invalidates your argument. Just say “I’m a crybaby and can’t take criticism or anything that hurts my fragile mental state.” You haven’t seen anything racist, you are just a whiner who gets kicked out of groups because you can’t play the game. It’s ok, just learn to play better. It’s telling that you post on an alt, because you have probably been reported for bad behavior so much before. You know no one would take your side if they knew who you were
I have heard this story one thousand times so I know what it is. The OP demeaned themselves. You are the one who seems to be trying to attribute an agenda to the truth. I’m sorry that you think people being sick of online whiners is some kind of hidden agenda. It must be lonely chasing ghosts on the internet all day.
If there was proof of racism we should condemn it. The OP was whining about underperforming. The logical assumption that they failed to do what they were supposed to do in a dungeon and then subsequently threw out a nebulous racism accusation in their anger. Any logical person would come to that conclusion just by the post. You are shadow boxing with a culture war I am not a part of.
Please see my response, but to reiterate, their post starts with them complaining about being an underperforming player and then vaults to ephermeral claims of racism. This is an Occam’s razor situation. What is more likely? They suck at WOW and in the current political climate came to gripe on the forums by throwing out false claims of racism, knowing that people like yourself would be their knight in shining armour without evidence of the racist claims. Or that the wow community is filled with secret racists? I already know your response since you have claimed you are agenda driven. But empirical evidence is not on your side. hence me saying I have seen this one thousand times. Does it not make you suspicious because they would not dane to make it on their main?
Racist as in, what everyone agreed was racist 10 years ago, or racist in today’s world, where saying “all lives matter” and other such vague things is considered racist to a lot of people- that kind of racist.
Actually it’s a little fan that sits on top of a heat sink and disperses heat from your CPU. There are liquid setups that do the same thing. Should be able to find them on Amazon or Newegg.
