Shut up nerd.
Well the maut staff is BiS for guardian when cleansed and BiS for feral with the corruption.
I agree with what you’re saying but I think WoW is a little better, compared to Heroes of the Storm, for example. I’ve played that game for… maybe 10 hours?.. and I received death threats in my messages, was bullied numerous times and… well, it’s not the game where you will meet friends, let’s just put it that way.
But I want to say that while the community is toxic, Blizzard is the best example of how we can fight it. There are tools to report and ignore annoying players and there are always ways to hide chat. In other multiplayer games you can’t even turn off the chat often, let alone report someone. Look at Phantasy Star Online 2, for example, where players post pictures of pornography or use offensive language, bully all the time but reporting is not easy. On PC I figured out that you can report them through Xbox Battletag but would anyone bother doing that on a console? You know the answer.
My point is, if there’s a company that fights toxicity and gives us the tools to avoid it - it’s Blizzard and it is important to appreciate that. The world and the gaming community or any other community will never be perfect.
Or you could be an adult and just ignore people instead of wanting fascistic control over people’s free speech and just go about your business.
Join a social/casual guild, and be one of the nice / non-toxic people.
It’s really all you can do; you know, the old
“better to light a candle then curse the darkness” saying.
You can’t change other people’s behaviors.
Free speech means you don’t go to jail, not that there won’t be other consequences for what you say.
*edit
It also doesn’t mean anyone has to give you a platform to say it.
I keep seeing marxists say that stuff but the truth of the matter is free speech is just that, free. When you try to harass people for saying words you’re restricting free speech.
Let people be free and do what they want with words. Words do not hurt you and if you’re easily offended by words then maybe you shouldn’t read or listen to anyone.
That’s not marxist, it’s how free speech in America actually works.
There are things that are not free speech or protected by law, as per our American court system. There’s a whole list.
Try yelling “Fire!” in a crowded theatre and then see about the consequences.
As per our own .gov website:
The First Amendment states, in relevant part, that:
“Congress shall make no law…abridging freedom of speech.”
Freedom of speech includes the right:
- Not to speak (specifically, the right not to salute the flag).
West Virginia Board of Education v. Barnette , 319 U.S. 624 (1943). - Of students to wear black armbands to school to protest a war (“Students do not shed their constitutional rights at the schoolhouse gate.”).
Tinker v. Des Moines , 393 U.S. 503 (1969). - To use certain offensive words and phrases to convey political messages.
Cohen v. California , 403 U.S. 15 (1971). - To contribute money (under certain circumstances) to political campaigns.
Buckley v. Valeo , 424 U.S. 1 (1976). - To advertise commercial products and professional services (with some restrictions).
Virginia Board of Pharmacy v. Virginia Consumer Council , 425 U.S. 748 (1976); Bates v. State Bar of Arizona , 433 U.S. 350 (1977). - To engage in symbolic speech, (e.g., burning the flag in protest).
Texas v. Johnson , 491 U.S. 397 (1989); United States v. Eichman , 496 U.S. 310 (1990).
Freedom of speech does not include the right:
- To incite actions that would harm others (e.g., “[S]hout[ing] ‘fire’ in a crowded theater.”).
Schenck v. United States, 249 U.S. 47 (1919). - To make or distribute obscene materials.
Roth v. United States , 354 U.S. 476 (1957). - To burn draft cards as an anti-war protest.
United States v. O’Brien , 391 U.S. 367 (1968). - To permit students to print articles in a school newspaper over the objections of the school administration.
Hazelwood School District v. Kuhlmeier , 484 U.S. 260 (1988). - Of students to make an obscene speech at a school-sponsored event.
Bethel School District #43 v. Fraser , 478 U.S. 675 (1986). - Of students to advocate illegal drug use at a school-sponsored event.
Morse v. Frederick, __ U.S. __ (2007).

It’s not marxist, it’s current American law under president trump.
Blizzard claimed that their platform isn’t for political messages and banned blitzchun and tried to steal his prize winnings and banned those casters that allowed him to protest for human rights for hong kong citizens.
They now plaster BLM all over their games and live streams (the end of the shadowlands life stream was a massive virtue signal for BLM). It’s okay when they do it but if you dare stand up for human rights in china you’re a bad person but illusionary problems here in the states are okay to platform.
They will virtue signal when its profitable for them and when it’s not then they’ll ban you straight out. Double standard much?
We all get it, they’re scared of having their buildings looted and burnt to the ground but it’s just gross when they claim they’re not a political platform and then post fringe political messages in their games and platforms.
The very fact that you can post this here means Blizzard is incredibly tolerant and that you do, indeed, have some form of free speech here on this forum.
I’m not here for the political rant, though. Peace.
Resetera banned people for giving luke warm reviews for the last of us part 2 and claimed that anyone that reviews the game badly are bigots.
Don’t forget these lunatics are saying “vote blue no matter who”. How about we vote for the best person for the job.
I got banned for calling someone a dumbass. Will prob get it again for even typing it.
You literally shouldn’t have been banned. People will mass flag anyone for wrong think here on the forums. These people need to get a space heater and melt their snowflakes.
